  • Here's a quick and easy way to reset your car's computer after a repair, maintenance, or alignment . Have a paperclip handy. I refer to the paperclip as "pins" mistakenly. Hopefully that doesn't throw you off.

Bent paperclip, pinned to 4 on top and 5 on bottom, can confirm this works on a 1.8L Toyota Corolla. Circumstance was vehicle alignment causing a fault to be tripped after swapping out control arms. Thank you for the tip!

Is that what you use for the “pin”?? He doesn’t really explain or show what he used. Paper clip ??

Hi . I have a Pontiac Vibe from 2009 and I made exactly the same how you did , but whem the car start on the road the lights come on . I mention that I change the transmision in my Pontiac with a transmission from a Toyota Corolla , works evrything just fine but the lights are still on . Do you think that I have to calibrate with a laptop and program for Toyota ?

Thanks a lot for the video ,it did help me clear my that error out several times . Do you think it keeps coming back due to dirt on ABS sensors or ABS actuator needs replacement as some told me on my Lexus RX400H ?Anther question is there any new updated OBD2 bluetooth adapters with Tourq pro app that could clear such an error ?

Did you short the 4th pin from left on top with the 5th pin from left on bottom using a paper clip? Didn't see that crucial part in the video. You used the word inserted but to clarify, did you short the two together?
