Forging a chef knife from a ball bearing

That is a beautiful knife! Your videos are very inspiring. Was that a dog head hammer that you use for the bevels? Is that easier to use than others?
Also, you can sell the plans for your hand sanding machine that will help offset the hours! Thank you again for fabulous content, especially for new knife makers.

Thank you! I use this in my kitchen almost every day since making it and it's been doing great. Yes it is a doghead hammer I use for the bevels. I noticed a lot of other bladesmiths use one so I bought one too. The doghead hammer allows for more precise strikes with the extra weight at the front of the hammer.
That's right, I forgot about my rant about hand sanding in this video 🤣 I should draft up some plans for that machine eh? Thanks for watching.
