In this video I will make a hunting knife from 1095 high carbon steel. The bevel is a sabre grind with a 0.5 mm edge thickness. The blade also has a swedge and jimping on the spine. I hope you love the hamon as much as I do. The guard is made from brass and the guard spacer is made from a piece of spring steel etched in acid. The handle is made from wenge and is fastened with brass pins. The handle is finished in Tru-Oil. If you dig in my Instagram you'll see I have made some hidden tangs before this one. The reason I call this one my first one is the others were made from gluing 2 pieces of wood together around the tang to make the handle. This is the first time I did it properly using a single block of wood. Any questions about the making of this blade, hit me up in the comments. kthx bye.
Thank you for your support! I love making knives and I believe my creations will only get better from here.
