Best ever tool i bought, when i started needing to wear glasses, I found it difficult to sharpen small bits, bought this back in 2012 (about then) and use it regularly and still using it to this day.
Thanks for your video extremely helpful
Nice video I got this exact machine, but its a Detroit I tried to sharpen 10mm bit following instruction manual but stuffed it up will try again after watching this, cheers!
Mowtoe Gee...me too. I haven't been having too much luck with it. It doesn't seem to be sharpening the whole drill bit surface. Obviously I'm doing something wrong
Drill bit sharpener brought to you in Cinerama
Great value for money at $99
I do this exact same process with my 9/64 and 11/64 drill bits with an identical looking sharpener (toolstorm I think it's called) and it goes through timber and soft material great but on aluminium it just slips and is terrible. Is it just a poor quality sharpener or something??
I see this machine popping up with a different name and colour everywhere; assuming it's the same machine coming out of the same and/or China factory.
Has anybody got one of the variants? For example there is a blue one on ebay with spare grinding wheels.
What happens when the grinder part starts to wear down? Can you fit a new one, or is the whole thing knackered?
Yes, replacement wheels are available. Here's an example: www.machineryhouse.co.nz/D0705
why cant i read the reply to this question :( screw you CZcams, get your censorship out of free-speech countries.
@@GhrystYes it's a pain, at top of comments select to sort by 'newest' then look again.
This looks like a Drill Doctor in a different orientation. Went to the web site, now all they have are Drill Dr.
what angle do these sharpeners put on the drill tip?
if its like the Sealey unit I think that's 118 degrees.
118 for normal drill bit 135 for split drill bit
la mienne affute très mal ! machine chinoise qui ne vaut pas grand chose !
The blunt / sharp demo is gold. 🫡🦘
