- The US Coast Guard seized $63M in cocaine after a shootout at sea that led a vessel to catch fire and sink. The drugs were offloaded at Port Everglades in Florida, according to the US Coast Guard.

For more than 60 years we've had a "war on drugs" yet everyday the flow of drugs, and now a poison disquised as a drug, gets greater and greater. The true definition of insanity. It's time we try something differant. Legalize it. No, we won't be able to cure all the addicts but countries who have done so seem to be having some success with it. Isn't that better than what we have now? Pulling the teeth from the cartels and other criminal groups, reducing the violant and non violant crimes associated with this whole thing has to have positive results for our nation as a whole. Of course the law enforcement higher ups are against it cause they get gazzilions of $$$ in their budgets.
