    Pretty cool. Still not that lightweight in comparison to the new ultralight tents out there but not bad.

      Yeah almost 3 lbs should not be labeled ultralight .Not that I care about UL
      3 lbs is a fantastic weight for a tent
      imo.

    I would LOVE to see a v2 that has two doors even though it's a single. A cool cross breeze is invaluable while still having the fly.

    Love the tent. I was to make a comment on this when you published the WCT Part 1 and 2. Mine is a very similar One Person tent but weights a bit more at 3lbs 8 oz all in. Weight is the major factor to consider on longer treks, uphill especially. My backpack is a 75 litres, I am good for 7 days out there with all the dehydrated food + gear. My last trip was up in the alpine of the Canadian Rockies watching the annual Meteor Showers. Spectacular. It was so dark that night that I couldn't even see my own hand. You can imagine the views up above. We are so small within something so immense that we are insignificant 👽🏔🥾⛺️

      I my a 75L pack sounds massive. Although I don’t remember what mine is at the moment. But I agree on the benefit of great lightweight gear. I really need to get lighter rain gear next

    Very much like the Big Agnes Copper Spur 1.

      I have a Big Agnes as well not that model though. I also have the MTN GLo 2 person which is probably my favorite if weight isn’t an issue. I love the built in lights and the yellow color

    Where is your yellow puffer jacket from? I’ve been looking for a nice, yellow, down jacket and love how that one looks.

    3 lbs is not an ultralight tent imo, go with non free standing

    • @SunnyGoesHiking
      @SunnyGoesHiking Před 9 měsíci

      Not ultralight for sure, but sometimes you gotta have freestanding depending on the ground/rock availability for staking a trekking pole tent. I have both because I tent in varied terrains.
