Raw Power to Ziggy Stardust and more are wrapped together in this bodaciously boutique combo.
The Cry Baby Daredevil Fuzz Wah fuses the sweet and expressive voice of a modded Cry Baby with a gnarly custom fuzz circuit for a full palette of raw and aggressive tones. This pedal’s origin lies in Daredevil proprietor and builder Johnny Wator’s love for classic vintage circuits and the desire to create bold new sounds. Inspired by his personal wah-wielding guitar heroes, Johnny fine-tuned this circuit over several years, building them for friends and bandmates, before bringing it to Dunlop for consideration as a new addition to the lineup.
The Cry Baby Daredevil Fuzz Wah is the resulting collaboration, and in true Daredevil fashion, it’s straight-forward and downright dirty. The only external control is a heavy-duty baseball bat switch to toggle the fuzz on and off. Removing the bottom plate reveals two more controls: one to set the pedal’s output when the fuzz is engaged and another to dial in your preferred level of fuzz nastiness. For instant lead tone, boost both the output and gain-in one step, you’re ready to rip. This fuzz wah is packed with killer old school tones and enough power to blow the whole dang room to pieces.
It all comes in a special housing with a vintage crinkle finish base, a polished aluminum rocker top, and a custom design tread. Each one is hand built with thru-hole components and true bypass switching to round out this ode to to full-frontal rock ’n’ roll.

This is awesome! I have an old cry baby that Johnny modded and it is absolutely killer. It’s great these will now be readily available to everyone, I might need to pick one up as a backup.
That's a cool pedal! Great demo, John, Rock On!
Sounds incredible! Just ordered mine!
You gotta do more of their pedals John, this is the most impressive gear I've heard in a while. 😊 This really has it goin on!
John just nails that...Amazing tone and playing!
It's a Yes from me!
The real problem with these demos is that I can buy all the material presented but I can't buy John's talent and guitar witchcraft... What a classy playing ! How many people can make sing a fuzz that way ?
Nailed the Money for Nothing tone!
It's got the right edge, sounds great!
Souped up classic Fender fuzz-wah performance. Slide + Wah is really showing off.
Great demo John! Might be time to retire my 70’s Morley Power Fuzz Wah.
Great demo. I gotta get one.
Your slide with the fuzz sounds like Jeff Beck!!!
I need this pedal, like yesterday!!
This is awesome
Man that thing growls without the fuzz. I really need one of these.
Sounds disgusting….I must have one
All the best sounds come from destroying the guitars signal 😂
Loving the Ampturco Guitarwerks cables.
Great video great audio sounds.
Playing guitar 🎸 music 👍
Great fuzz
I love that thing. I think the original intention was to mimic the trumpet with plunger head.
Awesome. Will my hair look that if I get one?
Me gusta 👍 suena genial
Trying to decide which is gnarlier, the wah or John's left shoe.
Welcome to Bohllywood. Been following you since you had black hair. Robert Randolph IS a great player with a scorching sound. My favorite Wah sound for a straight guitar is Stephen Stills on Season of the Witch. He got a really thin quacky sound and yet from photos of the session he's using a Les Paul. Just a beautiful clear sound with a large sweeping range. HOW did he do it? What wah pedal was he using, Crybaby, Vox?
Yeesh
Morley did this in the 70’s.
Shin Ei sí que hacía verdaderos fuzz/wah...
Can’t decide between this or the CAE. Any inputs is much appreciated. TIA.
Get this. I had the cae and it was ok but kinda overkill. Less is more sometimes.
⚡️🖤⚡️
Give one of these to Clapton !!
I'll take three thanks. 😂
I think if you are trying to make a disturbing cat singing voice its great 😂 but I will stick with my classic Wah. And yes John can make an awful noise sound good.
I wish you could turn the fuzz on and off with your foot, independently
Someone connect this to a bass immediately
Thats starting to enter Cliff Burton territory
In uk we have to pay equivalent $339.42 dollars.
Should I put a fuzz first to get these tones or after my wah? I already have too many fuzzes and a hand built wah.
Whatever is first colors everything, but what comes last is most pronounced. If you want more, wah sound, put it post fuzz. If you want more fuzz, put the wah first.
@@josephestes7076 Could you tell if the fuzz circuit is first ? I couldn't tell .If I had to guess I'd say probably .
ROCKTRON BLACK CAT MOAN PEDAL....
