    Excellent video! One suggestion - IMO it would have been nice to play the entire call without interruption before breaking it down. When you start breaking it down right away it’s hard to feel the “vibe” of the entire call.

    I tried "you're probably going to hate me. This is a cold call. Do you want to hang up or can I steal a minute?". I got shot down 5 out of 5 times, stopped using the technique, and went back to the drawing board. No laughs on the other side either, just hung up. I concluded it was either my comedic timing/tone/confidence or this opener may not work well in all industries and all personas. I sell to directors and VP level manufacturing clients $500M annual revenue and above. People in these positions are not time wasters. If you give them an out, they will take the out. I concluded I just need to blast off 30 seconds of use-cases, large clients we work with, and hot topics (Energy, scrap, quality, throughput) and let them either hang up or interrupt me if it's not relevant/bad timing. Made one call the next day with that strategy and booked a meeting on my first connection.

      Stop asking for permission, if they didn’t want to hear it they shouldn’t have picked up the phone. Permission based cold calls are so cringe to me. No offense to anyone that it works for or uses it, but that line would get me to hang up as well.

    18:55 - When she ask how is that measured, then ronen proceeds to provide deeper insights to the features of the the product. What i would have done is just booked a call there and just say all of that would be answered in the meeting (I'm a beginner btw). I guess how would we know when to just go on about the features, and when should we just go for the meeting?

      Be open an honest. End of the day your just having another convo with another human. “You know Sally, we’ve had a great talk and it’s seems like your interested enough to learn more about ___. I gotta be honest with you, I wouldn’t be the best guy to handle all of your question in details but we can get you on a call with ___.”

    Hey Matt and possibly Ronan. First off, thank you for this insanely valuable video!
    Secondly I do my outreach via cold calls and social media messages as well as SMS. The company I run is a software company for real estate agents that has automated SMS and email follow ups in place for the agent, a multi-messaging platform meaning the agent can have their messages from FB, IG, SMS, email, Google and even from their website all in one place. It also includes a CRM for them to use and they can build sites and funnels, manage their Google reviews and even post Facebook ads in under 5 clicks directly from the software.
    As far as a mic drop question would go here is mine: "Would you by any chance have anything that puts your new leads into a follow up sequence automatically?"
    I would continue with "The reason of my call was to see if you would be interested in learning more about the software solution we offer to agents that help with marketing and other tedious tasks"

    I sell real estate, and I stumbled upon your channel. I'm a new subscriber. I wanted to take a stab at the "mic drop" question for expired listings (i.e. homes that come off of the market unsold), so here it goes: "Do you have anyway...and this isn't a 'gotcha' question...but do you have anyway of knowing what was done during the first 2 weeks your home went on the market that caused it NOT to sell in the first 30 days?" Please help me make that question better. Thank you.

      this is a great question!..."Typically, espeically in this market, if a house doesn't sell in the first 30 days, there was some miscues in the marketing of the house the first 2 weeks it was on the market. Do you have any way...and this isn't a 'gotcha' question...but do you have any way of knowing what those specific miscues were?"

    I imagine Ronen had the direct dial phone number to make that BD call. What do you do when you have to go through reception to BD your target and the receptionist asks who is calling?, what company are you from? What is your call regarding?

      be 100% honest with them and ask, "if you were me, how would you get in contact with John Smith to see if what I do is a fit to help him do XYZ?"

    Great video! Out of 10 that are curious, what percentage usually show with this technique? I get roughly half with a similar way. Hardest part is getting commitment to meet us. I love the challenge and where it led to. Same with the opener, out of ten how many listen? Thanks!

      Thanks for sharing these questions! Feedback: I would change these from open ended questions to close ended questions. Notice in the video, Ronen's mic drop question is close ended...this is easier for the prospect to answer and for you to lead the conversation
