@@m4line well what it does is gives them the opportunity to bring their objections to the forefront. Ideally they say no , but it a real question to get them to tell you what may stop them and when they do so you can deal with the objection right there. As opposed to them keeping it bottled up and just changing their mind without you knowing. It’s better for them to tell you what’s wrong and give you an opportunity to ease their mind and at least a fighting chance to explain than for them to just not buy in the end and you don’t even know why or what you did wrong.

You don't have to be in "sales" to get value out of this either. It's called winning with people and getting people to do what's in their best interest. 3:17 ❝$1500 a month... that's your objection, is the cost? (He's moved already.)❞ What Grant means is this:
    The guy already believes in:
    ✅ Grant (the provider)
    ✅ the product
✅ his team to execute on the product
Now it's a matter of 'making sense of', or justifying the price/payment terms... which is why Grant expands the cost from $1500 to it's maximum of $40k. Grant expands the cost for 3 reasons:
#1: every business owner HATES recurring costs. This expansion shifts the perspective to a one-time cost
#2: Expanding the cost expands the problem, and people subconsciously know that solving a bigger problem auto-resolves smaller problems (for example, a single guy who feels anxious to message one girl... that's a tiny problem... if the guy would become more attractive and have multiple girls to date, he never cares about one tiny message to one girl)
#3: if the prospect can justify that he's already spent $40k elsewhere, then he can do it here, hence the question:
❝When was the last time you spent $40,000?❞

"every business owner HATES recurring costs" is this really some universal truth. I feel like tons of sales pitches are based on the exact opposite. Even Grant's own. He sometimes breaks down costs to a per week cost and says that makes people feel like it's less money

I thought that was pretty cool. His assertive nature, the way he just simply broke it down into a percentage of what the client was already paying -- just make it easy for the client to understand. You're not gonna sell to every person you talk to but keeping cool and presenting it to them as common sense will get you to your yeses! Inspiring. I also love how he made sure there were no other hidden objections by just asking point blank, "do you have any other concerns that might make you change your mind?" Awesome.

    • @brithegoddess
      @brithegoddess Před 7 lety +4

This technique actually works when it comes to dating. Five years ago there was this woman who I thought was out my league (looks wise) but I watched this video an insane amount of times and picked up on a couples things; Like how to be aggressive but respectful, to show high value, and to not beg, and to have them wanting your attention. I realized that the goal wasn't to have her say "yes" to date, but it was to make her grateful I even asked her out. It's not narcissism - it's the mentality you need because you have to have confidence that what you're offering the person is worth THEIR time, not yours. Five years later, I'm married to that woman. Great video, Mr. GC !

Hey Grant, It's Gordon and Leona from Toronto, Canada. Just a quick note to say that we watched your live sales reality show and we were absolutely "Blown Away!" You don't take no for an answer and you push, push, push until that door is opened and the deal looks pretty dang closed! Total Respect for what you do and we were just talking about how your process IS the next big reality tv show (and obviously all media). The minute we have actually have sales staff we will contact you. Cheers! Gordon and Leona, Shoppabilities

His sheer confidence in his program allows the customer to have confidence as well. Customer mentality is all about making the "right" decision and that's all based on whether or not they feel confident in the product/program. Great video.

The quickest easiest way is to identify with the other person, where they live, what they do, do they have kids? Pick something that you can connect with and use that to break down the walls.
Once you are in the pitch you need to listen to them really listen becasue they will tell you how to close them.

Selling to high income potential clients as a Broker was the most fun I've ever had. I'd find new ways of knocking them off their high horse and at the end they'd ask me to keep them in the loop. That ends up in them calling me because I don't call scrubs back, "I'm so busy" you'll tell them and now you have the hook in them so deep you can ask anything of them. Learn, learn and learn. In the end you'll close everyone even the girl you always liked even if she's married. I did.

The opening question is fantastic - "Why were you interested in in the first place?" - Good question, make the customer focus on the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, and then slowly reel them in. Feed double-layered questions where the outcome is a positive view of your company and product. Build trust, don't bullshit, be short and simple.

This is how you HAVE to sell if you want to make it. This is how we train our folks here and it works! a) as pointed out by others, they don't blank out the callers' numbers or addresses; and
    b) certainly in England, if you are recording a telephone conversation for a third party to hear, then you have to get the caller's permission to do so.
