Just wanna know why in the world you draft the rakan when RNG already has their support? Pick something a little more aggressive early to at least TRY and win early. Leona, Thresh, or even Morgana. Dont think there was any threat they pick the rakan after second ban phase and put it Mid or move the Alistar somewhere? Come on now, drafting there sucked for C9

@Paulius B. Comon dude I know NA players suck, but Lic. is probably not only the best NA toplaner but also the best NA player there is. On the other hand Shen is a pretty weak matchup against urgot so the skill difference doesn't matter. RNG's comp is solely based on making Uzi live through the game.
Urgot with TP/Flash and unsealed spellbook is meta and is the most dominant top laner atm.

I mean the only lanes that was winning for C9 is top lane. Mid and Bot was getting dumpstered so in this situation might as well farm to try and be relevent to a certain extent.

*I went through some comments and yes i agree that sneaky,sven,jensen look quite washed up.* But I agree on another fact that *MOST* of asian teams are playing safe version of this game and going full support and peel to adc and mid, It's always been like that. And I think that RNG outdrafted kinda C9 with that all in jump on Uzi team. C9 needed something like Gragas and similar champions to disrupt adc from her peel. I dont feel that C9 had enough fire power to kill that adc.
But as a C9 fan I want them to succed and if you think about it, C9 are like koreans, slow on start and then they come back swinging hard. Gl C9 ! *I'm from europe btw*

Sven might be the worst jungler of the whole tournement, while the only thing Sneaky is good at it women cosplay. Jensen the good old tilted son of a bitch loves throwing games. Feels bad to be Lich., definitely gonna leave the team next split. NA sucks ass buds, wait will TL gets destroyed and C9 gets eliminated with 0 wins.
TBF KT is one of the best team in the tournament, TL has to go against EDG and MAD and they both look reallly bad.

Collat because lategame insane engage potential, their coach didn’t know how hard would Uzi dumpster them in bot lane before the game started so he went to the lategame engage support/ botlane in general, it makes sense on paper, they just got destroyed.
Rng with a perfect game. I don't know about that rakan pick. You know rng plays so heavily around bot you should be picking a disengage. Thresh was open, that was an oversight... Sneaky wasn't really at fault except for blowing flash early (he had no business being in the jungle).

I don't know much about LOL but I think instead of rakkan it would have been better morgana with anti-spell shield sneaky would have survived once or twice, but it would not have been much use, because sneaky was throwing the game.
The thing is that RNG cornered C9 in champ select, by not banning kaisa C9 had to take her away from uzi, but they were prepared so they picked xayah and forcing, once again, c9 to pick rakhan. By letting urgot go, RNG knew urgot would be the first pick on c9. In the end, they already knew C9 comp before the champ select and could prepare for it. Thats why they dumped on c9 bot lol

It makes sense on paper. But morg isn't in a good spot meta wise right now and she is too easily countered. And C9 needed engage and Morg doesn't have a reliable engage like Rakkan. But I see your point and she would have hepled so much in lane phase. But Sneaky just played way too far up as kaisa in the early game. Also morg is super bad into Xayah because of her R, morg roots and Xy R's, doging Morg R and all damage, add a QSS and Morg can't do anything to Xy. Black shield would have been nice but I don't think it would be enough in the long run.
C9 needed a better frontline besides Urgot. Morgana is only good for laning phase and if your adc can snowball Morgana can roam to help other lanes like mid. Thresh, Pyke, Leona, or Tahm Kench is a better option when it comes to peel, engage, and act as a secondary frontline versus Shen and Alistar.

Have yet to see a comment of any accuracy. The game had little to do with team comp. Both were very good. The difference was RNG’s ability to punish mistakes. At level two, C9’s bot lane thought they could catch Taliyah invading but they didn’t have the damage. They traded Kaisa summoners for taliyah flash and xayah heal. Kaisa also missed about a wave of creeps in xp after this. Kaisa knew that if she oversteps into a alistar combo and taliyah ganks she will die. This forced sneaky to be zoned off a lot of creeps. Furthermore, alistar still has flash. RNG used this to force a flash combo from alistar at level 4 and there was nothing sneaky could do. At this point the best player in the world is super far ahead with tons of peel in the team comp. It’s smooth sailing from there.
I was thinking that too. It was either nerves or c9 felt so overmatched that they went for a quick lead hoping they could pick the jungler.
If they did feel this outmatched they should have just laneswapped top and bottom. Afterall they gave up 2 kills, a tower, and farm, might as well swap and only give up the turret. Also, Shen would be neutralized.
They lost the game soon as they picked the Evelyn for Sven. Dude did absolutely nothing with the champ. No counter jungling no counter ganks no nothing. RNG ganked bot like 3 times in 5 minutes Sven didn't even take advantage of that.
@@Lostsoulsnfocus I actually think sven did what he could. 2 minutes in his jungle is getting invaded and his bot Lane has no priority. He had to stay away. Instead he got top some kills. Maybe there is a better pick into this but I don't think NA should be trying to beat KR teams in their own game, they have to think outside the box (see vitality's ekko).
I beg to differ, even though c9 made some terrible choices; if you're facing one of the top teams in the world you need to assume you will be playing from behind, and you need to draft comps that can cover your mistakes.
You draft something like thresh, sejuani, champs that can help negate all the peel, not feast or famine, "run at them" champs like Eve, and rakan. Imagine a thresh lantern or sej ult instead of the...um.... nothing that they did contribute.
Sneakt threw like an MLB pitcher, but a little bit of defense woulda softened that alot!
