I would like to share my experience of miracle here. When me and my husband went to Madina after Umrah my husband got sick so bad that he couldn't stand properly. I used to bring him breakfast, lunch and dinner since he couldn't move and he used to pray in his hotel room. Also the day he got sick was the same day he offered 38 rakat nawafil in Riaz ul Jannah followed by Isha Prayer there.
It was his 3rd day of being extremely sick when he saw Hazrat Ali RA in his dream it was tahajud time. He says it happened in real as could feel Him just when he opened his eyes. So basically he prayed to Allah wholeheartedly before going to sleep and what he saw , Hazrat Ali took off the blanket from his face (he was actually sleeping with a blanket on) and said "tumhain Cortana tha, ab tum theek ho uth jao" and He just went away.
My husband when woke up he didn't have blanket on his face and was smiling. You wont believe he was standing on his feet the same day we came back to Makkah and performed our Umrah. Alhumdulilah.

although my story is a little different than yours, however, I can totally relate.
i come from a lower middle class family in Karachi, Pakistan. despite the circumstances, my parents tried their best to give first class education to their children.
half way through my A-levels, things started getting even worse. the graph of family finances was getting steeper. i dropped out of college and joined a tuition academy to cut the costs. this didn't help either, i had to start earning now. but couldn't find a way and enough means to do so. at this point i decided to give private tuition to others in return of cash. i started saving the money i was getting from my parents in the name of tuition fee (somehow managed to enter the lectures everyday by using the enrollment cards of my friends) and eventually bought a bike to travel from one client to another.
after A'levels, i decided to go abroad (Germany, to be specific) for further studies. it wasn't easy but i was so determined that i didn't even consider any university in Pakistan. it wasn't that i was so fed up of Pakistan or the education system back home, i just needed an exposure to the outside world. i kept on teaching, managed to pay to learn German for two years and also tried to save enough to go abroad. however, after two years , i could only save half of the amount needed.
in 2016, i found an opportunity to go to another country (i would like to keep the name confidential) and study at much cheaper price. i decided to not waste time anymore and used all my savings to move. i only had expenses for six months in my pocket when i came here. a country where the language was different and the locals used almost no English in their daily life, i struggled a lot to find work and bear my living and educational expenses. after six months of hard work, i decided to return back home. i had almost booked a ticket when someone told me about a local scholarship. the day i went to apply, i was already late and the deadline passed. somehow, i still managed to apply. i tried my luck. a week later, i received an e-mail from the scholarship committee stating that they accepted my application and that i have been granted 100% scholarship on tuition, dorm, food and also a couple hundred dollar worth of stipend every month. it has almost been 3 years living and studying here now. the local government bear my expenses here, everything is going so smooth, it doesn't even feel like i am out of home country anymore. sometimes i look back and just wonder how things changed.
i haven't been to Germany yet but it is still on my mind, my family haven't become very strong financially but i am working towards it, i haven't achieved all my goals but i am scoring them one by one... until i am determined, until there is will power, until there is hope, there will always be hope...

The same thing happened with me, I went for Umrah last year in Ramadan. I also fell sick and couldn't do Ibadat as I should have. I spent last 8 days of Ramadan in Madina, I desperately wanted to do Aitaqaaf but the night I decided, I fell so sick that I couldn't even wake up for Fajar the next day. Let alone Aitaqaaf, I couldn't even do my Farz ibadaat properly. Also, in Makkah, my other siblings and my mom got a chance to go near Kaabah Shareef, touch it and make duas but I couldn't get that chance. And it kills me thinking what sins did I do that Allah called me to His home but He didn't consider me worthy enough to come close. I just kept staring at it from far off places for 7 days, never getting a chance to have closer look, enter Hateem and pray.... I really pray you get another chance, inshaAllah. Pray for me too.

Quite informative and interesting to listen. I just came back from Umrah 3 days ago and I can relate your thoughts regarding first glance very well! *SubhanAllah*
Well that's quite good that you are thinking that way of repentance as well for not giving your best in ibaada's, I pray Allah give comfort to your heart and mind regarding this matter, you went there, performed Umrah and then got sick so primary duty of that journey you performed *May Allah accept that in HIS baarghah*. And then you were sick for 10 days after coming back here so it was something natural and Allah ki isme bhi koi maslihat hogi!
    Stay Blessed!

What a wonderful story, subhanAllah.... I remember this trip of yours and was so eager to meet you but couldn't...thank you for sharing this..
I am only voicing a humble suggestion: even though you may have already done this (Allah knows), but since you're (or whenever you are) in a much privileged position, you can aim to fulfil this dream for a family too by sending them for a Holy Cities trip (Hajj/Umrah).... Or maybe, even try to establish something like a donation platform or contacts within tourism companies/individuals in Saudi to enable pilgrimage for the underprivileged in Pakistan..
Thanks for your informative videos and all your efforts/initiatives for the community..

Hasbunallahu Wa Ni’mal Wakeel. Allah is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs for us. This sums up what you said in this podcast. I am also living proof of Allah’s Mercy and blessings. I’ve seen many hardships in my life, but whenever things seem to be getting out of control, Allah sends help in the most mysterious of ways. He clears the paths in such a way that no other power in this world can. I’ve been to Umrah Mashallah twice, and my heart aches to go back, especially every time I see images of Mecca and Medina. May Allah allow all human to experience this at least once in their life. Coming to Allah not wanting you there or not accepting your prayers, only Allah know best, but I truly believe that Allah loves his creation and He ALWAYS accepts our sincere apology. It all depends on your Niyah, as long as your Niyah is pure Allah is with you. May Allah give you another chance and bless you again.

I think the experience of falling sick and not being able to pray at the Kaaba and the corresponding feeling of being shunned by the Almighty by not allowing you to pray brought you closer to Him by making you experience His presence upfront so much so that you are still thinking about it 2 years later. May He grant you peace. Ameen

I was born in SaudiArab and lived there for 14 years now I'm 17.. I lived in Dammam which is about 1500km away from Madinah.. I was born there but despite living in SaudiArab I performed Umrah for 4 to 5 times only.. My family had certain Iqama issued and a time came when I had only one month in saudia and the exit خروج was implemented. Before coming to Pakistan, I went to perform Umrah last time in the month of Ramadan 2016 on 19th roza I was Madinah and on 20th roza I was in Makkah and I stayed there for 4 days but unfortunately I didn't pray much only perform Umrah and the prayers but now i regret much that I had such opportunity and I didn't avail it.. I was there on 21st of ramadan it was one of the special nights when we could find lailatul qadr but I went to clock tower to eat but I regret it because I didn't gain anything... Now I can't go there... I didn't avail the opportunity...

It can be a heart wrenching thought but the fact that you were able to perform Umrah is proof enough that Allah wanted you to avail this opportunity. I am a mother of a toddler and we went for Umrah last year. I was not even able to perform Umrah on my own feet becuz my kid was exhausted and slept in my lap... I had to perform it on a wheel chair on the first floor and I was devastated. I was not able to spend as much time in the Haram as I would have liked due to the child, but then I was consoled that travelling with small kids and making niyyat of Umrah alongwith them is reason enough for being in His good books.
Do not feel sad Junaid sahab because you were not deprived of the act of Umrah.

I believe it's not very wise to start determining whether Allah accepted one's act or not. Only Allah knows better. But since you have asked this explicitly, here are my two cents:
a). Your good deeds, your fame, your inspirational discussion were the reason (waseela) for the entire trip to the holy land. Hence, Allah accepted you for this and He invited you to his holy House.
b). If Allah were angry or displeased and didn't want to accept your prayers, He wouldn't have let you perform the Umrah or prayers of any sort.
c). Getting sick over there is normal and commonplace. However, even if we do link it with your concerns, I suppose Allah wanted to first show you His love (by making arrangements for you from nowhere to visit His House) and also by igniting a fire in you so that you start craving for visiting Kaaba again. Those who fall in love with Allah are the chosen ones. And Allah sometimes chooses people in the same way that happened to you (that is, creating a desire, creating a thought just like you have now).
To me, it shows that Allah is very pleased with you and He wants you to stay on His path and keep on being a khalifa by spreading His message. He wants you to be more connected to Him as well and not just the people. He wants the desire in you to visit Kaaba again and offer the prayers that you had to on your previous trip.

I can understand it. I went with my parents in 2010. All on my pocket. I wasn't able to go but I won a prize in my company based on my annual performance. It was 2 umrah tickets and 30000 rupees cash. I thought that my mother should go as well and Allah helped me in arranging everything. When we reach there, I had all the hotel bookings done and 400 dirham cash. Nothing else. But Allah made the ways to the trip. We bought only dates and I filled the Zam zam water by my own because my parents r elderly. I couldn't pray much. Because my all concentration was to my mother only. I didn't want her to get hurt by anyone. I can feel your emotions because I have been through that. But I couldn't pray as I wanted to.. because I was only concerned about my parents. When I was heading towards khana Kaaba, I was excited that I won a first prize. It was amazing
