How did this channel get its name?
Added my information in another comment, but I've also sent in my application 3 years ago. I'm the oldest survivor at 40 with a rare genetic disorder called Multiple Pterygium Syndrome
@@WheelzGaming88
You should send him another email! 😊
Hey! We’re in FL, my 6 year old son has speech dyspraxia and autism, he has a BIG fun personality and we would love to meet you and also get his story out! We want more people to understand how his mind works and to show others like him, that they are not alone.
I'm a dyspraxic adult and there definitely needs to be greater awareness of all forms of dyspraxia, especially here in the states. I certainly hope you get a chance to share both you and your son's story through some platform or another.
We would be happy to see your interview!
I hope qe get tp see you and tour son. My oldest has Apraxia that's how I learned about dyspraxia. Otherwise i wouldn't even know of it. It's great to have exposure to all the differences we all can have to learn a bit more .
I would really appreciate seeing this interview
I sent in an email so we shall see :) Thanks yall
Chris, just want to thank you for everything you do on this channel and bring everyone's stories to light and give them a voice.
I sent my application in 3 years ago. Hopefully you still have it on file, but I'll gladly send in another.
I'm the oldest survivor with a rare genetic disorder called Multiple Pterygium Syndrome.
I'm in Georgia 30 minutes west of Atlanta
I’d love to hear your story! I’ve never heard of your disorder.
Try again, at the email he shared. I hope it gets picked this time. Thanks for wanting to spread awareness about your condition. Thanks to your comment here, I learned about it today for the first time. All the best as a you have the support of this SBSK watcher!
Definitely try resending ❤
I just re-submitted my application. Fingers crossed I end up being chosen. 🤞
I'm getting anxious/concerned that I may not be someone they're interested in as I didn't make the cut a few years ago and haven't heard anything back yet this time.
I'm sure they're dealing with thousands of applications and this could be just my anxiety getting the best of me. It's another one of my disabilities unfortunately 😔
I love this guy he is healing the world ❤
Absolutely!!! And he keeps politics and other garbage out of it.
@@margiecasey9428 thankfully
I am in Alabama! I have an identical twin brother, in which I have Asperger Syndrome. We both have an irregular fascination with foreign nations, but I am not one-hundred percent how comfortable I am being interviewed, just because of social anxiety and all. I respect your drive in helping people show their voices and their visions to the world. Keep on doing amazing things.
I live in Huntsville Alabama!!
@@valentinapie5065 I’m from Gadsden! Hello, neighbor!
I’m in Georgia, and I love the idea of being able to share my story and help others in whatever way I possibly can. I have Complex trauma and bipolar disorder, but my diagnosis is so new (last year), and I spent 22 years in abuse. I’m now 26, but I feel like I still need to learn and grow in my diagnosis 😢 happy 2024 and I really wish all of you the best of luck and I can’t wait to hear your stories. SBSK has been a place of learning and comfort for me ❤️
I’m from Brazil and i thank you both for this channel and this interviews.
Thank you for still doing this amazing and human work. It was one of your vídeos that helped me to understand that i could be autistic. I did the tests and received my diagnostic. I am an autistic adult level 1 of suport.
Thank you and may God bless you both ❤️
Looking forward to the stories in 2024!
This channel is still going, wow. I'm amazed by this man's work.

Happy ten years SBSK!!😊
I forwarded this to a local mom in Georgia with who has a daughter with a genetic condition. ❤
That’s be cool if they could do interviews in your country!
@@Nan-59 Would be excellent! Here we also talk about mental health, but we don't really know the lives of people who have special needs. Thanks for the comment friend 🌻
@@jessicaynai. Peace ✌🏻 to you & yours!!♥️🥰
I’m in south Florida. I have schizoaffective disorder and highly intelligent and high functioning. When on meds . Would love a support system like the one your channel provides .
What you guys do is so important for the health and healing of this world. Thank you. All of you.
In Melbourne FL my father's wife has a cousin naned CJ who is wheelchair bound. He has 24 hour care and loves music. The world should know him and his family who care for him, what they go through. Love your channel!!!
Your channel has done so much for me. Thank you for what you do...
You are one of the most amazing person that i ever watched on internet, thanks to share so much with world ❤
My mom had a stroke 20 years ago and is still heavily affected. Will be emailing you soon! She’s in Orlando.
Hi! I live in Texas and work in the special needs ministry at my church, and in my neighborhood is an eight year old boy who is wheelchair bound and without speech. He had a disease as a child that caused injury to his brain. His name is Pierce and he is super energetic and loves to move around and absolutely loves popcorn!
Im a cop in Oklahoma who is CIT (Crisis Intervention Team) i dont have a story. But the CIT state director C. Sutton has an amazing story. Ill send him this video in hopes he will reach out because I would love to see a video from an officers perspective who has 2 daughters that are special needs. And who has struggled with the things cops see daily.
Would love to see content from New Mexico!
Hi Chris, just found your channel and absolutely love your work and the emapthy you are leading with!
If you’re ever in New England I’d love for you to meet my daughters Melody and Azula! They are both premies, nonverbal and unable to walk or feed themselves. We’ve yet to narrow down a diagnosis through years of genetic testing. They are an absolute joy to be around! We just got back from Give Kids the World in Florida for Melody’s wish :)
Waiting for you to come to Arkansas! I would love to hear about other disabled individuals, such as myself, that live in my state!
I live in Lubbock Texas, but I don't think I can do without a parent, and I don't think my parent would want to do an interview, but I will do it when I get older! 😃👍🏽❤
Did you ask your parent for permission?
i'm looking forward to seeing everyone's stories! i hope one day you'll visit the uk and i might have a chance at an interview
This is the most inspiring, uplifting channel on CZcams
I’m going to share this to a couple groups in Florida ❤ Im sure some people may be aware but families and children with disabilities here have some very bad new legislation underway and I know some would appreciate the opportunity to share themselves. The travel advisory is also a divider and keeps people from being represented.
Thanks Chris. For everything yall do. Still the most important social media account I’ve ever encountered or ever will
What a gorgeous man, inside and out ❤
I’m in Georgia ❤ I have scleroderma APS and Raynauds
Thank you for the amazing work that you do. I've been a fan of your channel for a long time. I hope I might get the chance to meet you someday, if you're ever in Virginia/DC. I think my brother would enjoy meeting you! He's 32, he has Landau-Kleffner syndrome, and he is autistic as well. LKS is a rare neurological condition that causes seizures and aphasia. It's about 1 in 1,000,000 diagnosis. Even if you never get to meet my brother though, I hope you will continue the work you do on this channel for many more years! ❤
I am in the Pacific Northwest. My husband would probably be good on one of your shows as he's an amputee and wears a prosthetic leg and he's currently in the hospital after losing the big toe on the other foot which means his walking will be effected and he's going to have to learn new ways. But we're not in the South. 😊
I am In Jax FL I am dx with Psychotic Depression, PTSD, Social anxiety, Generalized anxiety and ADHD. I love your mental health focused videos and would love to meet and share my story with sbsk

Hello from South Florida. I have just submitted my application via email. Thank you so much in advance for the opportunity to apply ❤ I feel that we could have a very meaningful discussion.
This is great! I'll ask around!
I hope you'll feature some DJ activists this year as well! I absolutely LOVE Sins Invalid in California and I know for sure they inspired a whole generation! ❤🖤
I live in Texas can I apply? I’ve been wishing to do an interview for the longest time I’m a long time follower and supporter and live with many chronic illnesses some rare and disabilities 🫶💕so excited! 🥰
Definitely! I will be spending a lot of time in Texas this year.
Yes, Like the idea of southern interviews as I don’t see much of it as well being someone who’s autistic that grew up in Kauai even if it’s not the South but mostly I don’t see much interviews in the South or Hawaii Islands but like the South more as you don’t much.
This is wholesome happy new year
Happy New Year 2024!🎂I have a dream Chris you come to Europe and talk about your empathetic as educational work to the european audience ..
Congratulations for 10 years of SBSK Chris and Alyssa! Oh MAN, I wish I was in the southern USA, but I'm not if I was. I would send you an email. I do want to be on SBSK!!!! But if you ever in the Missouri mid west region. I will send you an email. Love SBSK!!!! ❤️
I can't wait til you come back up to the northeast!! I live in the Boston area!!
I truly wanted you to interview with my niece in Louisiana really bad..but unfortunately she passed away..she had the second rarest brain defect known..plus cerebral palsy and autism..she was non verbal..she was a real a tough kid.. despite her conditions she got around very well..Rest easy Avani Skye Cook..
I love what you do!
You are the best spreader of positivity.
You and your guess inspire me.
Love your channel. ❤❤❤
I sent an application in October and just emailed a reminder with some fun photos on my mom’s email. I hope that helps . Serena W. In Florida
I'm so excited!
Awesome! My twin brother and I hope to meet you. We both have delay in mental health and we went through twin to twin transfusion
Wow
When you get up to the great Midwest, remember the great state of Missouri! Maybe 2025, dear man? Love your content & thank you for increasing my knowledge and awareness and compassion of so individuals and their familues with many obvious and unseen, but real disabilities! 💙
also mississippi people. Im from laurel Mississippi and would love to hear interviews from more people here because i feel our state needs more education about topics like chris touches on.
🙏🏻👍🏻💜🫂🙏🏻👍🏻💜🫂Keep up the GREAT WORK!!!
My sweet niece Violet has Rhett syndrome and lives in Alabama. She is 9yrs old and on a new drug trial. Rhett syndrome is devastating but Violet is always smiling and dancing through it. She loves music that is her connection to the world around her. She used a tobi eye gaze tablet to communicate. Rhett syndrome has taken a lot from her but has not taken her personality! She lives with her mom which is my sister in law and her father with an older brother!
you are doing amazing work, if you ever branch out into other countries please let me know, i would love to take part in this amazing movement here in denmark-
Keep being awesome
I love ur channel 👍👍👍
I love your channel
If you ever come up to Massachusetts I would absolutely love to be interviewed! I have a fairly unknown mental disorder which you’ve only ever shown on the channel once before, along with 4 other mental conditions, and it’s on my bucket list to be interviewed by you! I emailed you a few days ago and I hope to hear from you soon :)
I'm central Florida. I think that's great you will be here soon doing some awesome interviews with amazing people. Isn't Florida where you are from?
Any plans to come to southern Illinois? Really looking forward to seeing the new videos. Your channel inspires me and it's also been a way that my fiancé and i connect, over sharing these stories and watching them together. He keeps encouraging me to write you for an interview, but I'm not sure I've got a super interesting story. Maybe one day i will. Certainly would love to meet you one day. Your channel is one that has inspired me to create this brand new channel to share my love of books and talk about books in the neurodiversity niche.
I can’t wait to see more interviews
Virginia here! My brother has Down’s and he’s my hero.
Hey! We live in Florida and my son has a speech impediment that came out of no where. And when he was younger he used to pronounce words inside out, I forget what they call it. But he's definitely effected by his speech
I'd like to participate one day, because I really enjoy and appreciate the stories you share and the work you do, and how it educates people on the many things that are part of a person's life, and also how amazing these people can be, as well as how loving their families are. 🥹
My current diagnoses are Autism (Asperger's/ASD Level 1), ADD/ADHD, OCD, Anxiety and Depression. 🥺 Right now, I'm really nervous, though.. 😞😣 Hopefully I can participate next time y'all visit the south, because this time, I'm still dealing with poor mental health, and after watching Yasmin's story about C-PTSD and being able to relate to many of the feelings and things she described, I'm trying to get an assessment done to see if I could possibly have that as well, because it would explain so much.. 🤧 I'm looking forward to seeing more stories shared with us 🥹🫶🏻✨️🌸🐰
I Defintinely wanted to be interviewed one of these days
Thanks!
Your doing gods work
I just got my application completed. Hopefully you see it soon, Chris and Alyssa.
Hey! I’m in SC and I just sent in my email. I have an official diagnosis of bipolar type 2. I also have C-PTSD. I would love to advocate for people like myself and show that you can lead a happy life despite having the odds stacked against you with a chemical imbalance and adverse childhood experiences. I really hope I hear back!!!
Aww man! Was hoping Virginia would make it. I'm so close to the NC border!
Looking forward to seeing the interviews in 2024 !
Hey Chris ,i was wondering when will you maybe start interviewing other humans from around the world ? I'm from israel and autistic (PDD-NOS) and im pretty sure there's disabilities or what not out there that could even be anomalies ,just not limited only to the US.. other then that i enjoy watching your videos^^

Hi Chris I wish can meet you guys I love your videos and I can be your videos ❤❤❤❤ please come to Houston Texas❤❤❤
Im 19, I live in NC , I have bipolar disorder, OCD, and I am transgender which has been a crazy journey. Didn’t know I had OCD, everyone told me it was just anxiety. Also found out that I have ADHD at 17, went without accommodations in school my whole life. Medication and my emotional support animal has changed my life.
I just sent you an email. I hope there is some way I can help. I believe in what you do and hope you continue to do so. I hope you gain support and a following so large that the entire world knows about these people. Thank you.
