    Hi Jim, The course planner is in the setup section and I added it to my homepage on my Montana. That way you can switch courses to routes and tracks on the Montana and skip Garmin Explore for that part.

      Thank you! I couldn’t find it and thought something was wrong despite the recent firmware supporting courses but always had the workaround

    Hi, your videos are really helpful. I have a question do you see any benefits of using Garmin explorer to create route or track instead of doing it directly on updated Montana unit? Seems like extra step to take. Of course I 'm talking about Montana unit with all recent maps uploaded and available. Thanks

    Can pairing your Montana to your smartphone allow Big Brother to know everywhere that you've been in the future should they so wish to find out?

    I have a garmin forerunner 35 and my last 5 runs have not synced but it still shows up on my watch and I am connected to Bluetooth: FWI IPhone user

    hi Jim, can we do the same with the garmin tread. i really hesitate between montana or tread. I only do atv and sometimes snowmobile. can you help me in my decision thank you

      You can. Explore is on the device itself so you’ll see everything in a collection when you sync. You can also use the tread app
