    Thanks Tom. It appears that all of the shots demonstrated were 1/2 ball hits.

      Yep, you are right, John. The half ball hit is one of the most predictable angles of deflection. Learn that angle and you can then make better adjustments the others. The DVD will go into greater depth on all of this and much more. Did you notice how all of the the initial balls are located along a diagonal between the side pocket and the corner. Take a moment to think about that.

      Yes, I noticed. This looks like a fun drill to work with, and I will. It also appeared that you was moving up or down on the vertical axis of the cue ball as needed.

      When the two balls are close to one another the first ball tends to skid before it begins to roll. This drill requires the carom ball to be rolling naturally when striking the second ball. A low hit on the cue ball causes the next ball to take a forward roll sooner. Nice observation!.
