I love the new controls although I feel like being unable to look behind leaves you very vulnerable.
Also for me using the rudder causes the plane to oscillate side to side and it makes flying very difficult
One agrees it very much does 😢 this is where mad skills come into play 🤔
@@loganburnes2326 the rudder is mostly used for landing and taking off 🤠 but can make flying in combat very interesting
From what I recall this has been an issue for well over a year and I wish they’d just fix it already. Idk maybe someone who plays on pc can let us know if they got the same problem. Technically if you want you could plug a mouse and keyboard into the consoles USB slots if you’re desperate enough lol.
I did left bumper hold and right stick for looking around so much easier mate

what a difference this made on my flying. Before I couldn't keep the plane up for more than 3 minutes now I can last a whole match in the air

Great guide! The default plane controls are horrible. Only question I have is, how do you keep the reticle on target and not jump around so much? When I move the reticle just a little bit the plane seems to really over correct itself. Thanks!
Each plane is very different, start with adjusting sensitivity. When I'm in the FW190 its all over the place but its very flyable once its adjusted
@@R0GUES which sensitivity setting would that be? In the general settings or in the plane tab? Thank you! Yes I can’t hardly control my Yak-1 but the Bf-110s are fairly easy to aim etc.

Coming from battlefield. Im not a fan of the flying. I moved the sticks to L and inverted Up and down. Idk if they added air physics but when i use my rudder my plane will start to tilt even though its only suppose to move left to right and when im trying to turn around it makes things complicated having to use both Ailerons and rudder and i lose a lot of speed and altitude. When i finally get a good line the crosshair is constantly moving and can never get a good hit(rockets). Thoughts?
Thanks for watching, The pilot has a big influence on how the planes performance i.e skills, more skills better your flying experience. Regards the rubbed/ ailerons it just takes time and mad skills 🤭🤠
The planes do shake like crazy but I think it’s cause they added wind and weather after pacific update. They need to fix the rudder because it doesn’t work, but like he said you just have to slow down and a better pilot and maxing out your plane upgrades helps a whole lot.

Why don't we need the gear button? I have always switched between up and down gear although I have no idea if it affects anythig at all lol. So does it affect to plane speed at all?
Yes, gear does impact on air speed. The main idea behind the video is flying as the default setting really don't help. You could play around with the button setup to get the most out of your experience i.e buttons for landing.
Have you ever had it so you can't change the bind to be right stick directional? It only lets me select the right stick pressed in, not the up/down for the bind. I've no idea why it also doesn't work for left stick
I've had times when they failed to work when I assigned to other stick, then failed to work when I re-set. The opinions and settings in game are very temperamental they work then they don't, that why I always re-set to default then close game restart game. So answer to your question try and re-set to default clear everything and start again, avoid touching throttle, if you want to swap throttle to right stick do it in console settings I.e playstation or xbox main controller settings.

I just want the normal pitch and yaw controlled by left and rifgt stick. Idk who came up with the right stick controlling both. Whilst left works normally… it makes no sense and got me killed so many times. It’s annoying. It’s like baby mode. But it doesn’t even work.
Last time I tried moving to throttle it glitched and wouldn't work without resetting back to default. This set up is the best I could come up with that worked 👏 🙌 👌
My plane keeps trying to rotate left and I’ve adjusted my dead zone on right stick but it’s not doing anything
The editing of the control's does not have any effect on the aircraft's caricaturists. This is purely down to the pilot. My German 190 is difficult to fly but I've made it better with the controller settings.

That is due to the pilot, my 190 is very very shaky due to new pilot ☹ my mad skills can only reduce so much shaky shaky 🤠 mainly the pilot 😎 you could try to turn down sensitivity on you playstation or xbox settings might help.

OK, 🤔 what I did when I started was to set everything back to default then try one modification at a time. Double check you have no conflicting controls. Any issues always reset to default and start again.

I'm just going to play battlefield when I want to fly. It's better but still nearly unusable. Great vid though
Dont give up 🥵 just do the basic configuration and your there 🥳 just upgrade your pilot and boom you'll be a Captain Ball in no time ( world war one ace 👍 from Nottingham England )
Honestly. Stick with pointer aim. Just play with the sensitivitys till youve found it how you like it. iv tried all 3 setting and this is just a faf on. I take nothing away though its a grate guide for beginners. if bf3 settings is for you this is the guide to get you going!
