    I bought this saw needing a decent limbing saw for a big job i was doing. I honestly didn't expect it to last the whole job as I have always used husqvarna or other brand name saws. I have been truly amazed by this saw and its durability, workmanship, and dependability. I have since used this saw on over 100 tree jobs. It has done everything from limbing to cutting firewood to cutting down trees to milling. I am still using the original chain and bar. The chains that come with it are really aggressive. If you do start to lose power check and clean the air filter. As it gets clogged it will lower the performance but that will happen with all saws. I would highly recommend this saw to anyone. I have told logger friends and tree cutting friends about it and they have purchased some and love the saw.

    These Chinese saws easily compete with name brands. I haven't used my Husqvarna 460 rancher since I bought the ebay coocher 62cc. The carb has low and high adjustment and works just as well as my 460 rancher.

    I enjoyed your video. I have about 3 Echo saws and they have never failed me and start so easy. But at my farm a lot of very large trees got blown down in a heavy windstorm and my saws only have about 16-inch bars at most. I may be purchasing one of these just for the clean-up job I have where I need a beefier saw with a much larger bar. I was impressed with the fact you got two bars a long one and a shorter one. The face shield looks nice as well. I have one set up with muffs on a hard hat and it's great when cutting with the chain saw. It looks like a great value for the package.

    it's very similar to the usual Zenoah clones. Those came with four different displacements, and the 62 cc versions were rare. They shared the same carburetor and there were only a small difference in power produced by those four different displacements.

    Great review! I am new to chainsaws and I didn't know about greasing the bar. I have a Neo-Tec 24" It's a beast but its hard to start cold and is too heavy for smaller work. I need something lighter and a bit more maneuverable to go with it. I wonder about the weight. The amazon descriptions are don't seem to be right as they list this at 11.5 lbs but list the 58 cc 16/20 inch version at 14.5 lbs. 11.5 lbs would be great but that seems too low for this saw?

    Seamed like the chain was a little tight and it wouldn’t spool up,
    But I’m probably wrong on that cause I don’t really know for sure cause I wasn’t there but that was some touch hard wood too though..

  • @Lensman64
    @Lensman64 Před rokem

    Very nice review. I just got the 24". Hmm, I didn't get a carrying case. That would have been nice. I have all the other accessories and the face protector and ear muffs are actually useful.
    Pros for mine: Powerful, heavy bar 1/2 the price of a "name brand" like Husqvarna, Stihl or Echo, easy setup.
    Cons: Wicked hard starting! Yes my fuel mixture was correct. The included chains are not that great but at least you can swap them out.
    I have Stihl and Husqvarna chainsaws and I have to say that this one is pretty sweet (especially for the price!) The build quality is very nice. It's a bit unbalanced (bar heavy) but when I can get it running it's a powerhouse. I guess I'm going to need to adjust the carb because I can't keep trying to start it for 10 minutes. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong.

  • @nseric1233
    @nseric1233 Před rokem +1

    These saws are not all the same cc.
    If you get a 50 or 54.5cc one with the good cylinder they run good and cut fairly fast, just as fast as the 450 husky if not faster. But if you get the 45cc or 50cc one with the crappy cylinder with small ports they start and run good but cut slowly.
    I've had a couple of these china clones with different plastics, my joncutter 5800 rips. It seams random what size proyama gives you tho, I was ok with it being 50cc as I know the 50 runs pretty good but got the crappy 45. It was so slow I swapped the cylinder after 5 minutes of running the saw.
    If you see another review of this saw stating its very slow, they're not lying, they got the 45cc one.

    • @NicholsCounty
      @NicholsCounty  Před rokem +1

      Thanks for the input. I'll have to check but I do remember the one I ordered was 62cc, but the one in the box was either 50 or 54.5, I'll have to check tomorrow. I contacted the Amazon store that sold it to me and they said it was a labeling error on the chainsaw. Go figure.
