A really cool Elden Ring challenge run i came up with, i though it was going to be a much bigger disaster but it turned into one of the most fun challenges!

I found both these spells during my first play through and literally thought they’d be bad purely because “comet spam go brrrrrr” I am now adding them to my spell slots
Try them out, they are a ton of fun!
Shame since when I got the digger spell and used it on a enemy I was shocked at how well it was doing. Didn't really get to see just HOW good until much later because I refused to build a mage for my first playthrough
If you played when the game first came out you were right. They were buffed considerably since launch. Especially Rock Blaster.

i had never used any of these spells, so this was actually incredible considering how quick they absolutely m e l t bosses

You could use the consumable rocks as the stonediggers use them. At least the larger ones do.
Underrated spells, put in insane work on staggered bosses and drain more than half as fast as Comet Azur, definitely an amazing option even in normal mage playthroughs
I feel like the Night Maiden's Mist spell would be fun to beat the game with, the spell is a double edged blade but pretty fun to use

Tip for (x)sorcery spell only runs: get 2 of the staffs that boosts that sorcery bc it stacks when power stanced
the boost from having a second boosting staff is less than just having lucat's staff in the main hand instead because lucat's staff has much better scaling.

In my moonveil build I used rock blaster as a 'what to do with stance broken opponent', cause it was in 100% of cases better than a riposte. Always had a lot of fun with this. However, eventually I replaced it with Ghostflame Ignition on weapon swap for same purposes, cause it was even better and synergised better with the talisman setup, and produced less situations where I would run out of mana and did not deliver enough damage to stance broken target because of that.
Still highly recommend rock blaster for said purposes. Another simpler to put out spell for same purpose is carian slicer.

Toto uses Dental Appointment! It's super effective! XD (if you are interested, Bushy tried to one-hit bosses with these spells. It's a great video)
With rock blaster, I “one shotted” a bell bearing hunter scaled to NEW GAME PLUS 7!!! He literally could not even attempt to attack once before he died. Insanely good spells. Also I’m not sure if rotten winged insignia works for this spell, I know it works for some spells but does it work for this one?
i would advise testing against rykard. Big target that can't really handle you at close range to test damage against.
@@holyassasin5202 well I tested it against some giants but the numbers fly by so quickly it’s hard to tell.

The only downside of these spells is that they only do 49 damage to crown towers

If my math is correct, the final setup gave an extra 106% boost to your damage (Note that this doesn't account for consumables that may have been used)
20% from the Digger Staff
35% from Terra Magica
4% from the Graven Mass Talisman
(There is a Greater Graven Mass talisman charm that does 8% so a small bit of missed damage)
12% From Scorpion Talisman
20% from Physic Tear
15% from Golden Vow
Now there is some armor, talismans, and spells to further boost the damage buff, but I don't think it's necessary in the slightest😂
No more buffs are needed haha

it's mostly the same: get your buffs, get your upgrades, evade the attacks, be patient and do your shit on the openings

The Fire Giant is weak to high damage output, cause his phase transition take so long.
Didn’t really cheese the fire giant. He just used the only two spells he could use.

Hey friend, I really enjoyed this video and will likely watch some other challange runs, but might I suggest you add in a attempts counter after you beat a boss. Eg, after killing godskin duo you'd have in the corner text for a few seconds that says "attempt 3" or whatever it might have been.
I could do that, i am just incredibly lazy as a person haha
