I used a water proof epoxy putty, mixed the 2 together and packed it around the pipe,
    It worked

Like the video! Wondering when do you typically see leaks starting, years 7,8,9..etc? Are there some brands worse then other for leaking? Keep it up!

I have a broken piece and I'm not sure the name of it. It's the part in your video that is about 6 inches to the left of the area that your working and is the large connector. Hope that makes sense and thanks for the video!

    Great video, thank you!
If I'm following, you cut 2" out, so it leaves something to get a grip on with pump joint pliers.
Didn't spot you saying to, however I assume it's a good idea to clean and maybe sand the PVC fitting a bit before using the kit, for better adhesion?
How do you keep your tools from rusting from the chemicals? Stainless, brand that has good plating, dry and oil them, new set for each video, ...?

You can do it all! I enjoyed watching you work. Do most people do their own repairs or call your shop? If it was me, I'd be calling for help. Great video as usual, and I saw how you "tightened it up". 🙂

Curtis locally we have 9000 service customers so there is no shortage of work but my videos are seen through out the whole world for do it yourselfers.. What is going on with hot tubs is there are very few people who know how to repair them or no one so home owners have to learn to keep them repaired and that's where I come in.. Thanks, for Tightening up and watching.. Spa Guy

What do I do if I can't get that piece out of the sleeve after cutting out the cracked flex pipe?

First of all, thank you for your great videos. I come from Germany, I need your 100% RTS silicone. Unfortunately I can't find anything comparable here in Germany.
Does it have to be a special silicone?

Where could I get a rad kit? The inner diameter of the pvc in my hot tub is 2.5”.

GREAT VIDEO! I appreciate all of your time that you generously donate to folks like myself! That being said, I have a similar issue only i have the 2 in flex pvc protruding from a foam filled area. i had to cut back the foam to access the end of the flexpvc but its covered in a thin film of the foam material. i've removed all i can physically but its still there. Apparently there are no chemicals that will clean that flexible pipe and my concern is that I cannot get a good seal/glue job with this thin layer of foreign material on the flexible pvc. I was hoping you had a trick for me that would allow me to attach a rigid 45 and restore this tub back to service? i was considering a pipe 'extender' that glues on the ID portion of the original and presents a collar that can be glued to. this would work but i wanted to get your input as you are the expert I trust! TY in advance for any assistance you can provide.

I have used the Magic Mend and I do offer them on my site but cleaning the foam is not that hard.. I scrape with a knife from to back then use a mild sandpaper in a around the pipe motion and purple prime then glue..

Can a hub saver bit work for this?

I'm dubious about it cutting through the tough flex hose (metal reinforcement?) but not the soft PVC fitting.
