It's not as easy as people say it is. It's so hard to make friends especially in highschool when there are people who already have friend groups. What makes it worse is being an introvert. You just can't adjust easily.

I always feel like I’m faking my personality around the people here since I act wayyy differently with people I’m comfortable with like my brother and friends from my old school. As an introvert, I totally understand how it feels to be left out so whenever there’s a new student who looks lonely(haven’t join any friend group yet) so I approached her and sit next to her in classes. So basically before this she tried to join another friend group(kinda the extroverted one) after she became close to a girl(she’s nice to everyone) but seems like everyone else in that friend group isn’t interested in someone quiet shy like her. So one day she immediately came to join me for like group assignments. Turns out I’m her only close friend and I feel so bad so I tried introducing and including her in our friend group as much but my friend group still kinda ignores her(pretty much cause she barely talked but she’s only talkative when with me). The next year she adjusted so she’s getting close to my 2 other friends but like there seems to be a sub friend group in my friend group, so they started to kinda distance themselves for example not inviting us when they go out(but we still talk tho) and now she’s leaving so I’m hoping the best for her in her new school

Did your school start already? Since you're new it should be a bit easier because people are more interested in new people, so just try and talk to people by you in classes even if it's just asking what the homework was or what they did during the weekend😊 I hope you manage❤

I remember one time i tried to start a convo such as asking what’s her favorite artist and when I know she’s a fellow swiftie we started a pretty long discussion talking songs and stuff. And now she’s my bestie(sad she’s leaving his year tho). Just ask them about any random things don’t ask too personal questions if they seemed uncomfortable to answer just change the topic so that way you don’t look creepy:)
Let me share some tips as well 😁 as an introvert. 1.i personally think you should approach new commers since they are new and it's much more easy to talk to them and maybe hold hands etc then they will feel close to you easily . 2.Join a club or group which your interested in even it's mentioned in the video 😂. Then It will be much easier to make friends since you have the same interests as then that's why you take the same group or club:) 3.Most of the time I didn't approach them they were the ones approaching and introducing themselves to me . ❤ All the best 👍
If they are in your class or in the classes you have you can try asking them for questions like homework or for notes, bc it will be less awkward at first Then if they hand you their copybook or idk you can compliment their handwriting and this can already just make them like you a bit more :)

I have this person I really want to befriend but I dunno how. I met this person on a school trip when we weren't in the same class, and then we hung out for about 3 hours at the amusement park in our school trip. I talked to her bc she's a friend of my friend and we sometimes see eachother when we're both with that friend but we're not really friends w/ eachother.
