Well ik this is off topic but on the subject of crushes something awful happened I swear today so my crush and I were talking and he told me he had a crush! I was kinda like oh.. fine I guess but then I was like maybe it’s me idk then he told me it was someone else one of my friends I wasn’t mad so I just said aw cool! Want me to ask her for u and he was like sure so I did but she said no so idk maybe I have a shot I’m not asking tho cuz like I’m an awkward idiot. I’m like a creep I just stare at him sometimes 😅

problem is i can’t hold a conversation because i have social anxiety💀

i’m heading to 7th grade this year in september which in my district is the start of middle school. when i was in 6th grade that’s when it became prominent to me that i kinda had no friends. i did have friends, just not that many, and a lot of friends were popular. like POPULAR. even ppl from other grades knew them and were friends with them. it made me realized i only have a few friends that i actually talk to and hangout with, otherwise i just know ppl, i don’t actually socialize with them. most ppl prob don’t even know my name. i do open up to friends that i talk to a lot and have known for a while, but i am pretty introverted. i don’t like speaking up or talking in front of big crowds and i think that was the problem. i’m having trouble combatting it, but i promised myself that going into middle school, i have to start making friends and speaking up. imo middle school is rlly serious and i don’t want to end up alone. i feel like there’s SO SO SO many ppl i rlly wanna be friends with but i’m too shy to befriend them. i hope i can make a lot of friends and socialize more this year but it won’t be easy.
