Route Description:
Full realtime drive from the Charlotte Metro up to the North Carolina mountains and the towns of Blowing Rock and Boone. The main roads were all salted once we passed Lenoir in the foothills. The snow on the ground was from a storm Christmas Eve into Christmas Day, a few days before this was filmed. Taking the most direct route using I-485, I-85 out to Gastonia and US-321 straight up through Hickory and Lenoir up into Watauga County.
