You can use a 10% lidocaine or just ice. This is not painful. I do inject a little lidocaine when I use a cannula, but really it’s not necessary. The first injection will cause some soreness being under the muscle. Arnica works and topical CBD for the soreness.
The filler will move a little after the injection, but after that it'll become more stable. Some fillers will dissolve after 6 to 12 months, while some up to two years.
She does look more masculine in the profile comparison, at the end. Question is: Does she overall look better? I think she does, but perhaps he could have used a bit less filler, and it would have been a nicer compromise.

I say he used 2 syringes. 1ml via needle directly on the mentalis (chin), and 1ml via cannula for the lower jaw. So 2 mls total
Typically 1-3ml is used to augment the chin.
