I’d love to see what kind of enclosures you have! You seem like the type of guy who goes all out with enclosures. I’m always excited when I see you have a new video. Keep making rad videos!
Just how big is your house!?!? That tortoise + GusGus running around would be a good bit to deal with, but you’ve got all those others! Lights, heaters, tanks, enclosures; not to mention FOOD! Wow! You own a reptile zoo, right? Live in a reasonable house on the grounds? Wish I lived closer; I’d love to see your set ups for them all! My first big reptile is my bearded dragon and I rescued him from a horrible situation and now he's been doing good for the past almost 5 years he's got a big 75 gallon enclosure and he's very lovable with me

Clint, you should do an episode on grass feeding tortoises. I am currently In the process of adopting a tortoise, and plan for one that will largely feed on my lawn, and can live in an outdoor enclosure. I am sure I am not the only one making this decision. I feel like it is a good way to help people decide on what species would best suit their specific situation, as many jump straight into getting a Sulcatta, without even considering other species such as Leopard tortoises. I think that would be a fresh idea, and an informative video if you compared them all.
Great video Clint! I’ve been propagating mourning geckos (I hesitate to say ‘breeding’) for a number of years...they really are quite fantastic, but yes, they will definitely munch on their offspring if given a chance.
I had to make a decision between bearded dragons and Anoles. I’m really happy that I picked the bearded dragons, now that I learned that other lizards aren’t as good for handling as beardies! Sitting around outside with a bearded dragon on your shoulder watching tortoises eat is just awesome.
Clint you rock. As being the heir to the turtle kingdom, (birthmark of a turtle wearing a crown grants me this claim), I love all caring tortoise and turtle keepers.
The other members of my house love-hate hearing my watching your videos as it has so far led to me getting a male albino hognose and now a juvenile crested gecko (they love them really). You've also made me fall in love with pink tongued skinks and boas!
Would you ever do a video about columbian red tail boas? I recently rescued one and as a first time snake owner but forever snake enthusiast would greatly appreciate it!!! The only reason she's my first is because my mom is terrified of snakes, but when my brothers roommate left his boa behind I HAD to have her, and she caved. Loved her since he got her as a baby but have to admit she's a handful haha
glad to see the second part of this, i've been a big fan of reptiles for a long time and recently rescued some snakes... my question is, can you ever get used to them feeding ? i don't mind giving them mice but every time they strike for their food i jump. it's the one thing i didn't expect, did all the research obsessively, got temperatures and humidity right etc... but i never realized i'd be so jumpy. will i always be like this or will i just get used to it ?
I accidentally just said "thats a BIG turtle!" on the tube & now everyone is judging me...hey though! Nice on you for keeping an animal that needed a home even if they're a bit troublesome.
I love your videos, probably my favorite reptile channel! Will you ever do a reptile house tour, were you show the gousing of all your reptiles? Would be an awesome video! Big up!
Thank you! Maybe. I would need to figure out lighting. I also hate to get into specifics of enclosures. There are lots of opinions, and I want to encourage going above and beyond without discouraging people that could provide perfectly adequate. It is tough to balance. That is why we don't do care guides. We help you pick the right reptile, but expect you to research the heck out of it.
You should actually try a Berber Skink (eumeces schnideria) they have great little personalities, and I feel like they don’t get as much recognition as they should. Love your videos!

Would love some videos on enclosures and keeping these reptiles. I always like seeing other setups (especially for the larger species such as snakes and large lizards).
Try a Spencer's monitor :) not sure if you have any in the US but here in Aus we recommend them to people who want a larger monitor but one that's relatively easy to tame. Great monitors.
Can you do a video of mourning geckos? It reaally interested me when you talked about their parthenogenetic, it would be awesome be know more about them 💜
If your looking for monitors to recommend you should consider looking into captive bred tree monitors. I have a cb gtm and she's amazing. Next on my list is varanus melinus, for a medium sized monitor they seem to have a great temperment

Clint, been holding my breath waiting for the second installment in the series and yes, the ensuing brain damage was worth the wait. UPDATE on my non-eating Dumerils Boa juvenile. He ate on his own today for the first time in his short year on this earth after 6 months of assist feeding him F/T. Sadly a live hopper mouse so it was bittersweet for me. I was in such disbelief I must’ve dug through the substrate of his small tub four times. The little hopper didn’t even leave a lump in his belly. Would you recommend going right to an adult mouse next feeding and would you suggest feeding him again asap rather than waiting a full week like with my other snakes? He’s got a lot of ground to make up. Thanks for the RAD video and RAD advice!
Got it! Are snakes that fall dramatically behind in growth the first year usually able to catch up and reach close to their natural potential in size or do they remain markedly stunted into adulthood?
Since you mentioned trying to find a larger species of monitor to recommend, what about Black Roughneck monitors? From what I’ve seen, typically they can be a little shy at first but warm up to calm owners. They also seem to have reasonable caging requirements for a medium sized monitor species.
In response to your statements on the corn snake. I think this is a very important thing to consider in many circumstances. While it may be the EASIEST pet snake to keep, that's not always what is best. For instance, my brother isn't into snakes/reptiles. I've been trying to convince him to get a snake. BUT, I would not suggest a corn snake or maybe like a kenyan sand boa, because while they're great pets, I don's think they're a snake that really "wows" someone. They certainly COULD make someone fall in love with snakes/reptiles, but I think something else(also a beginner level species; obviously nothing hard to keep) that is still reasonable but more likely to cause him to fall in love with snakes/reptiles in the same way that we have, would be better. If he got a corn snake and was just kind of like "eh it's ok", he would likely never get another one again. Anyone have opinions on this? Again, only saying this is the case in some situations, ones where you're trying to get someone to truly fall in love with snakes or reptiles in general.
Ahh I want to get a reptile so badly! I've been doing my research on crested geckos and will hopefully be getting one next year, if everything plays out how i want it to
Can you do a video on the best bio active Clean up crews. Like which is better darkling beetles, worms, isopods, or springtails and maybe expand a little bit on which species out of those genres are the best?
Knight anoles are great. I've got 2 puppy dog tame ones in what is the equivalent of about a 600 gallon enclosure (6.5ft tall x 3.5ft wide x 3.5ft deep). The male came to me in perfect condition but the female has a pink nose and a tail tip missing from what I assume is from being in too small of an enclosure at her last home (probably 10-15 gallon exoterra).
