Even such a crappy machine runs with a good servicetechnician like this guy, which is also a great video presenter.
Gotta love older Komatsu maintenance, as easy as it gets.
fun fact.. the centre of the fuel filter and oil filter is where the liquid is drawn from the feed the engine, the outer of the filter ring has multiple holes where the liquid should be fed into first not the centre hole as the outer holes will lead the fuel through the filtering material so it's clean. So Basically it's advised to not fill the fuel filter from the tank feed into the centre hole because if there is any rust, diesel sludge or dirt in the tank then now you have just filled that into the side of the filter that should of already been filtered through the filter material which it hasn't and is the main reason for injectors getting clogged or going bad.
Hey bud. Leave those red plugs in until you prime the filter. The plug insures the fuel you use as a prime is filtered. Not trying to be critical. Nice video
Feel like the filter says as much...
I have this argument daily. The morons I work with will take a fuel filter off a machine and dump the fuel out into the new filter. I can't make this up. They will pull all the air filters out of a machine and blow all the dust down the intake with a blow gun.
The old saying grease is cheaper than iron Nice to see a new body thank you sir
You just put unfiltered fuel into your primary filter, with these size machines the basic hand primer is all thats required to bleed the whole circuit.
Nice to see you using original filters 👍🏻
Awesome video guys love the content, I’m a mechanic from Germany but i wish I will become a mechanic in the USA 🇺🇸 love it keep it up
I think they are Canadian
They are in Canada
I love this PM. Stuff I would like to do this part time 😊
Very educational guys. Great video as usual...
Good glimpse into periodic maintenance.
Love this, it's very educational. Thanks
Really interesting. Thank you
Great Videos!
Great video.probably your best
This exactly will help me with everything and my new job also
Think there should be another few hydraulic filters, small case drain one. Plus servo line filter. Great video.
Waw very good
Oh - Brandon makes an appearance in front of the camera.
that pink cap is for when u pre fill it, you keep it on to make sure the fuel gets filtered before it gets used. fill the filter THEN remove the cap
Sir, what type of oil are you using in damper case?
And in swing machinery?
bravo
The spray tin. Is it a degreasing solvents ?
So does that high pressure fuel filter get used in idle as well as operating it? I would’ve guessed that you had to run the machine to get the high pressure filter working but I am going to suspect that it the fuel filtration works in stages at all times
What hydraulic fluid does a 98 komatsu wb140-2 use? They saying 10w-30 fluid but I don’t see that anywhere

Hi,
I'm looking at 2018 used PC200-8 Komatsu excavator in China with 2900 for $26,000.00. It is a 20Tonne unit. Is that a good price? Is the machine possiblly fake?
I need you advise.
Thanks
I want to become a heavy duty mechanic. But I’m wondering if I need my own work truck and my own tools. I also don’t know how to get started, I barely have any experience around big vehicles. I have only worked a little bit on small cars
Try working for an equipment rental company. You'll get experience, plus some factory training /certifications. Later on you can then branch out on your own with heavy equipment experience under your belt.
@@Terry_Baker I can’t right now. I am still in high school senior year, that’s why I need to know if i will need my own truck and tools when i actually get an apprenticeship and then a job
Depending on your location, there are many college courses that a person could participate in. Its a different route then the traditional apprenticeship, and can be a good avenue if you don't have a way in, or know how to get started. Its what I did, anyways, when I was in your boat.
As for needing your own truck and tools, well yes, you'll need your own tools(in most cases), but you will only need a truck if you go into field service. You'll most likely start out in a shop, though, as an apprentice.
@@HDMRice Okay. So no truck right away.. But I will need my own tools? Or is there usually shop tools i can use?
@@raptrr-7871 If you are in the United States, companies like Sunbelt, United and Herc run paid intern ships in the summer. You can get experience thru them
Why was he using a manual grease gun? Loool how many hours did he plan on spending greasing that thing loool the crew members had to give him the electric gun LOOL even they couldnt bare how long he was milkin that grease job for
