I watched The Warriors for the first time on REde Globo, Sunday .... 23:30 + - knowing that the next day I would wake up at 6 am to go to school. I had to do a great maneuver to watch it because the TV light would meet the central corridor of my parents' house as well as the noise and consequently wake them up. In short, a group of 10,000 Mercenary Greeks (lead by Xenophon) were employed by the brother (called Cyrus) of the Persian King of Kings in an attempt to usurp him. The Greeks fought well, but Cyrus died during a battle, leaving the Greeks stranded in the middle of the Persian Empire, which consisted of numerous different factions who fought under the influence of the Persians.
The story was of their fight against all the Persian controlled factions so they could return home to Greece.

Seeing this particular scene ..in the movie theatre in Ft worth TX..loud speakers and screen...then , suddenly , Cyrus is shot!!!! That shocked me pretty bad ! I freaked ! From there on .mayhem and survival ! I think I checked on my popcorn because of the drama! When I left , I at least felt better because the " warriors made it home ...quite a shocking movie! The soundtrack was amazing and crisp and Mr Joe Walsh playing the riffs !
