Summary: Dr. Pibarel Meitei narrates his life journey of how he endured and overcame all the obstacles and difficulties he encountered in his life with the strong desire of becoming a doctor. Coming from a poor family, he had many challenges in getting his basic education. He desired to study in an English medium school and that was made possible by the unknown universal forces that helped him in achieving his dreams. He entails about the start of his entrepreneurial journey with Roshnikumar Yambem and how Medilane was started under a different name.
The Massive Open Talk envisioned as MitSna’s MOT is being organized with the vision to not only increase the employability of our youth, but also create a generation of employers and young entrepreneurs and over and ability above instill in them a sense of commitment to the society.
Eminent Social Scientist Oja Dhanabir Laishram; Pooja Elangbam, ADC-IW, IAS; Thounaojam Brinda, ASP-NAB, MPS; Prof N Rajmuhon Singh, Professor of Chemistry & Dean, MU; Renedy Singh, Former Indian Football Captain; Roshnikumar Yambem, Founder, Globizs and Dr.Pibarel Meetei, Founder, Medilane spoke at the event.
The event aimed to bring to light the following issues:-
•The rigid and the outdated education system in the state and the need to adapt to the changing pace of technology.
•The need to de-stigmatize nonacademic education and reinstate vocational training,sports, art, music and drama.
•The issue of ‘Education for the sake of education’.
•Institutionalization of institutions in Manipur turning education into a commodity.

Not that I don't respect the speaker or his work,I genuinely admire the struggles n perseverance but the way he puts his story is not interesting and striking enough like other speakers since he is not able to express well with suitable words .I think he would have conveyed his story in a much better way if he speaks in Manipur.
