I have definitely been my own worst enemy in life at times. That is a hard lesson to learn. Now at 61, I can say that I see different ways I have done that virtually all my life, and finally a few years ago I became truly comfortable with being alone with myself through spiritual seeking. I can't intellectualize these truths.

We are not experiencing life, we are experiencing thoughts, emotions, prejudices, ideas and all the other rubbish we draw up in our mind. Wow!

Only problem I have with what he said thoughts and emotions are same thing. Maybe he simplify because its practical, that thought and emotions are both mirrored in the mind, so you control one you get the other free.
But emotions have no language or manual, they simply take over you, so what he say make sense, since thought is like a language interface. Still ... I have problem with this, because they are not one, they are opposite, thought and emotion, one come from material organ (beast) other come from spiritual organ (mind)

when you speak your intelligence is involved, you cant speak unconsciously, sadhguru uses his intelligence only when necessary like a sharp sword, rest of the time it is preserved in the sheath, otherwise blade will lose it's sharpness and so will intellect if used unnecessarily, that is what he meant when he said, our own intelligence is turned against us, it is a double edge sword.
If i save myself and start to live my life as human beings should ... it would be because of Sadhguru's light and direction.

It's better to start with u before u intervene in to a fresh life. Let the fresh life as it is, we have no rights to interfere in to a fresh life's freedom even though we're parents. The fresh life itself is a god's creation which made u and me. eventually the fresh new life, it'll become more wise than us by the lessons it'll learned from it's own life experience itself.
As a parent u have the role to play & which is to protect them until it become mature enough to survive on it's own for a few years, but parents or no one have any rights to take the right of a creator's intention on that fresh life beyond that. Be free & let them also free. This is the best contribution from your side to your children/creator's intention.
