- Speed UTV at 2023 Can-Am UTV Hammers Championship - King of the Hammers which includes a desert loop followed by a rock loop.
Robby breaks his Speed UTV while pre-running the qualifying course. Leaves the lakebed and does not qualify. Race day he misses his start time. Starts 5 minutes after the last racer, then couldn’t get out of the in field. Goes back to his pit. Works for a bit. Heads, back out… stumbles, then off to the desert. Finishes lap 1 when the top 4 racers had already finished lap 2. Swaps all four tires to tackle the rock lap, and breaks in the second rock trail. His car is so broken that they leave it overnight in Outer Limits and calls in a helicopter to pull him out the next day. - Auta a dopravní prostředky

I think Robby was having trouble with his GPS. His Navagation Screen was in Chinese Mode. Awesome video and commentary guy's.

Well some cars have been delivered already but they are very silent ...weird huh maybe they sign something thar they are not to disclose any defaults to the public? no reviews yet?
Nobody has taken a car home yet. Robbie had them all show up in AZ. Made a video about them receiving their new machines, went on a ride, and then kept the machines after the video. Nobody took one home yet. They will get them after the new transmission is installed. Whenever that may be.
I guess the 4 wheel drive UTVs is about as reliable as the 4 wheel drive trophy trucks......
Perfect place to work the bugs out though,ya gotta break it right now to know how keep it from breaking later!!!

Remember when Cannondale decided to get into the dirt bike business? That venture caused a very successful mountain bike manufacturer to go out of business. I wonder if Speed UTV will suffer the same fate.

It's kind of embarrassing if you ask me. As much of a competitor as Robie is, you would think he would dominate. But each time I've seen these machines, it's been a fail. I'm so sorry.

What exactly happened to his car?
The stock production transmission he was running broke a gear in the rocks and the metal shards from that gear got wedged into the other gears causing the transmission housing to split. Robby and weddel were aware of the problem a few weeks prior and are having the assembly line work on the heat treating process as well as make the transmission housing stronger. All the cars that are going to be delivered this weekend will have the new transmission’s installed at a later date.
@pyrocoyote1922 no shit. I was so pumped to see how his car was going to do then saw that and was like WTF. Well hopefully he gets the problem fixed and fixed right. I have high hopes for speed.
