How we fit 35-inch tires on our 2024 Polaris RZR XP
From the factory, 33-inch tires are about as big as as you can fit on a 2024 Polaris RZR XP. For most people, this is completely fine, but we’d like a bit more ground clearance for rock crawling.
Thankfully, HCR Racing’s Sportline Suspension for the RZR XP move’s the arms forward 1.5” allowing us to fit a true 35-inch tire!

Morning Rip Around Sand Hollow, Utah
zhlédnutí 320Před dnem
Summertime temperatures in Southwest Utah are well over 100 degrees Fahrenheit, so it is best to do your off-roading first thing in the morning. We took our Shock Therapy / Can-Am Maverick R for a spin to check out some of the sights. Sand Hollow State Park encompasses the reservoir, camping areas, boat launch and everything north of the tunnel. Once you pass through the tunnel from Sand Hollow...
Upgrading to 35-inch tires with HCR Sportline Suspension on our Polaris RZR XP
zhlédnutí 614Před 21 dnem
We added HCR Sportline suspension to our 2024 Polaris RZR XP and this allowed us to bump up to 35-inch tires. The front A-Arms are high clearance and also move forward 1.5-inches to allow for larger tires. The tires we ran for this test are High Lifter Roctane STX and we did also remove the front sway bar. I’d imagine you’d probably burn through those faster since they’re so soft, but you do get some grippy goodness for a while
Actually tire hight will very from manufacture and air pressure and weight of machine. Put some limit straps and strengthen the suspension do to the extra weight of the tires.
Very cool and although there is a lot of automation, it appears there are also a lot of jobs.
What could have have been a super interesting 45 minute video turned into just random clips with no commentary
Sounds like Polaris needs to be offering this setup as Standard! I know, I’m hard on the MFGRS!
Stock 33” will fit which is probably a good max for 98%
I just placed an order on one 👍🏻 Going to carry in my Can-Am Commander Max.
What is the actual height of the 33's and 35's? Was curious if they run big or small.
They are both pretty accurate to size on the sidewall
@@UTVGuide101 I'm running 35" k9 super grips now and only measure out at 33 1/2. Also can you tell a big difference in running the 33's compared to the 35's in weight and also between the st and stx?
How long can you power your starlink ? Can you run it all day ? This would be ideal for working remote.
@@juiceprojex have not run that test but the STARLINK does use a lot of power
Do the 35" tires fit stock or did you have to install a lift?
33” will fit stock. To get 35” we installed HCR forward arms
👍
Hey now, you better slow down.
This is for someone, who has everything.
I've only seen failed loading here on youtube, haha. Nicely done.
Beat that heat.
Oh good more central coast polluters
Wow impressive
Take my money

I just picked up an identical car at Moto Expo in Concord yesterday for under 41k OTD. I own a 2 seat x3 with full shock therapy iqs, desert storm turbo and just about everything else you can put on and this Mav R blows away every aspect of my x3. I planned on keeping the x3 for a backup but now I don't know if I will even want to drive it anymore since the Mav R is such a better machine. go ahead keyboard warriors and nitpick all you want while I am more interested in driving this state-of-the-art machine.
Man he let that thing eat like an Ethiopian at golden corral
Yes you do have to carry Ice! Cocktails require Ice!🤣 Glad you got one, those of us who bought it through Indigo have to Blow the whole Summer waiting to get it.
Which fox shocks are you running and are they adjustable like the factory walker evens that it comes with and do you like the fox better?
FOX RC2 from Shock Therapy + FOX iQS.
Did you do a clutch kit to run those tire?
@@austinbaker6518stock clutch so far
Okay I was nervous on running 32 on my 24 xp without doing a clutch kit but they are pretty low geared
@@austinbaker6518ideally you would with such a drastic size change
I was just there for four days. I left yesterday. It was so HOTT. We put 75 miles on my X3 in four days... lol We spent most our time in the water. I also broke something near the front diff on my last drive up a massive dune hill climb. I'm never going back in the summer. Lol
I like it! I’m looking for a Utility Trailer right now so I can haul a SXS to the Dunes and camp in it overnight (from our AZ Townhouse)! I’m thinking I’ll just eat lunch in the Dunes and head in town to Celia’s for a dinner the first night of my trip! Again, I’m just thinking of spending one night so, don’t need much!
Turn the AC on in your SXS!
Wish we had a SxS with HVAC!
@@UTVGuide101 Jon: I’m impressed! HVAC! That’s typically a Commercial Term! How did you know it?
You didn't say which tire you would choose if your ride was going to consist of trails and mud.
14 years later, that Teryx still sounds great on CZcams! lol
It’s funny to find these old videos with a song playing over the sound of the cars so you can’t hear them.
Great video! Any mods to get the 33s to fit? How does the machine do in high gear with those on?
Stock clutch. No problem pulling them in high
Best ramps out there👍👍
I don’t know y anyone has not commented on this video that’s cool as all get out. Keep it up my friend
What side mirrors are those if u don’t mind me asking
Sector Seven
I ride there on my cr 500 and my 450
Damn!!
Nice ride, can't going to add this on the ride when we head west!
Lol i though that was a toy car making it look real.
That's nothing my rusted in half 1998 Chevy k1500 could do the same thing with air conditioning
holy shit that was too clean
Where's the off road wrecker when you need it? Show us how its done Paul!
Machine looks awesome. It's a bummer they moved the event to may. I Liked it a lot better when it was in November
Looks like a fun and casual event! (My kind of event! Any problems with the Maverick R doing it? Width wise???)
No width restrictions. The Maverick R can do most of the trails, but the gearing is a bit tall for more extreme trails.
I live in Las Vegas and would like to know about this event next year and similar events. Is there a site or somewhere to look for the dates or to sign up for this event next year?

Where is the engine assembly????
Maryville MO
I did not see a ride. All I saw was upgrades
Pretty scenery! How far from the nearest bigger town? I’m guessing the Trail is rather unused!
About 10 miles or so from Mt. Carmel Junction, UT (not a big town LOL)
I was the first one to comment and like
got this one correct.
Got Hog Canyon correct too. You just didn’t read the video description…
around half of this video is not in hogs canyon, the arch and Peekaboo slot canyon is NOT in Hogs.
Yep. Read the description and we go over that
Love the Arapeen Trail System!
