Exactly! When I had an allergic reaction and panic-took waaay too many Allergex (old-generation antihistamines), they gave it to me and I immediately felt terrible because it also neutralised the anxiety meds I had taken.

i use to have one and i'm getting it again so heres a few reasons why
1. i find that when i blend frozen fruit and then add it to the freeze for later eating..... the ice cream gets all crystalized... with this however... i can put ther frozen fruit through the machine and freeze it for later eating... with NO crystals smooth as ice cream....
2. blenders "for me anyway" often lack the horse power and by the time its fully blended the frozen fruit has melted a lot... which means i have to refreeze getting all those unwated crystals thats just my experience
3. also i find that using store bought frozen fruit is never good... they always pluck the fruit before its ripe so its never sweet at all.... so i buy fresh ripe fruit in season.... then i slice it and bag it and freeze it myself and then bam... "ripe frozen fruit" and i love it that way..
4. also i do find it easier to clean then a blender... which is why i want to get another one

I have one of these, I loved it a few years ago. use liquid stevia with the more bitter fruits to make them much sweeter. plus if you want a really blended mix you have to add small pieces and add them alternating so they blend perfectly - its honestly a lot of work and prob not worth the effort to be honest but when I was cutting this was amazing at saving me calories while still letting me indulge

i have a bullet and adore it. would use it twice a day but too many calories. I got it when i couldnt eat and had a hard time getting calories and was getting too skinny (i know, like a dream come true but not really) doc fixed me and now i have to count calories again. But yeah my bullet was literally a life saver.

It's basically just finely mashing the frozen fruits. Everything has to be frozen before you put it in the machine. The bananas come out like ice cream because they're creamy on their own. So are avocados. So, maybe adding bananas or avocados to every recipe would work better. :)
Freeze whatever you're going to use before putting it in the machine. :)

I have had the yonanas for a few years and I’m still obsessed with it. I use it year round. But if i want to do fancy stuff like cookies and cream or coffee “banana “ based, then i use a food processor. But to me the yonanas is easier to clean.
Just wanted to let you know, my Fungalitus mask is a hit. Wore it at work than to food store on way home. A guy in the store was hysterical laughing when he looked at me. Took me a minute to figure out what he was laughing at. 😂🤣

I have one that I bought years ago... you used the machine all wrong Vivian. All of the fruit must be frozen. You didn't freeze the pineapple. The machine works just fine.

The way I've always looked at it is whatever is offered to us through the infomercials, like all those "extras" they only offer, IN the actual information, is to entice people to buy it. When it's sold in stores no extras added. Either you want it or you don't 🤷 at least in my experience nothing extra ever came with my stuff.

Retired cook here, from what I can tell this little machine is basically a small dull bladed macerator similar to a top feed meat grinder...only made out of cheap plastic. It definitely isn't set up to mix ingredients so you would be better off mixing them together before putting them in it.
A normal blender heats up quite a bit when you are working it hard enough to mostly puree frozen foods. This will melt your "ice cream" before it's even mixed.
I can't say that I would suggest this product as I haven't used it, but I can say that it appears to be made very cheap and that it will very likely break or motor give out if used regularly.
There are definitely better options out there. Hell with so many restaurants going out of business due to the lockdowns finding high quality professional kitchen items for sale should be easier than ever, that and restaurant supply companies. You may pay a bit more than the cheap plastic Walmart options but they are better made and last way longer, it's worth it for the things you use most often.
I just prefer quality over quantity, this is a good rule for most things in life. If you can buy something that is well made one time, use it for life then pass it on to your kids because it still works great, it would be so much better for the world in general. Buy once rather than buying cheap shit that breaks soon after then needs to be replaced, into the landfills or ocean go all the broken garbage. It may cost more at first but not having to re buy something over and over again ends up costing you more money, is super wasteful, bad for the poor people working at these sweatshops to make it, and bad for environment. Controlled obsolescence is a plague on society, as is the mass materialism, gluttony , greed and apathy that has taken over....yet most people insist on pretending that things as they are, are sustainable long-term and their behavior doesn't need to change at all.
