Congrats on all your great finds! Thank you for sharing them along with your knowledge on their history!
Thanks so much! I really appreciate the kind words!
Awesome pickups, thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Hey Rhett, your channel is always a joy to watch. I do not collect prewar before the 30s, but I enjoy the cards and knowledge that you share. You’re also not condescending, snarky or arrogant when you speak about your cards, which as an experienced collector, I appreciate. I always learn something. Thanks for sharing. Take care, Terry
Thanks brother! I have never understood the strong egos in this hobby 🤣
At the end of the day we collect expensive pieces of paper! 😀
That being said…it sure is fun!
Your table was by far my favorite of the show, thank you so much for taking the time to share so much of your knowledge. I really love all of the cards I picked up from you.
You are welcome! Thanks for spending time over in the corner with the cool kids! 🤣
Great video Rhett. Nice to see you. Sorry didn't have more time. Looks like you had a good show.
Thanks Tom! Always good to see you as well, The show was a too busy to have much time to do much of anything :D
Nice pickups Rhett! That green Cobb is really nice!
Thanks! One can never have too many Green Cobbs! 🤣
@@starsofthediamond7126 That’s definitely true!
Awesome Video just dropped my first PSA Video/sports card video ever any tips would help. Keep up the content! 🔥 My favorite card in this video has to be hands down the 1979 topps Wayne Gretzky!
Funny thing is it came to me via a trade and wasn't actively looking for it. I agree it is such an iconic card.
I'll be sure to check out your video.
Super coincidental (for me) that your video is about 1948 Topps Magic. I was in an Arkansas antique store last weekend and found an old scrapbook page with 18 of them pasted into a scrapbook. 3 notable ones were Babe, Honus, and Tris Speaker. Spent $15 total for all 18. The stuff of dreams. I've spent the last couple of days learning about the set. They're super neat! And, as you said, the first Topps Set! Great vid!
Thanks! They are so insignificant looking to most that they don’t realize their historical significance. Great pickup on that Ruth!!!
@@starsofthediamond7126 so true! I didn’t have a clue about these. Nor did I know that they had such nifty cards in 1948 that kids could develop them by rubbing spit on them and leaving them in the sun. Might be worth a whole video one of these days? Underrated set. I saw a PSA Ty Cobb went for only around $500 the other day on eBay
Hello Rhett! I saw a post you made in 2013 about a 1936 sport news newspaper stamp set. I was trying to track down a baby Benning from that set. He is my great grandfather and I am trying to purchase it. If you are looking to sell it and you still have it. I would love to talk to you about it!
Did you see any of the early Zeenuts at the national? Thanks for sharing.
Other than at my table and at Mark’s table I didn’t see too many…very few 1911’s (which is I believe what you collect)
Thanks for the info. Keep making videos when you can your knowledge is always valuable and much appreciated!
