  • The making of a large batch of cold process soap. Making big batches of soap is a creative idea for soap makers who have a small business. I wouldn't recommend this for beginners, but if you are a beginner i do recommend to take classes on soap making, read books on soap making, learn the basics, and start off small. There are many soap making kits online for beginners.
The mold I used to make this batch of soap was one that I made, it holds over 500 oz. of oils. Using my own soap recipe, it made 100 bars!! PLUS a lot of sample bars as well. The embeds I used was piped soap it thought it would make it more decorative. I guess I can call this artisan soap. The fragrance I used was "Peach Perfection" it smell just like peaches.

It is always so interesting how the colors change depending on the fragrance used. Lovely soap.

What are the dimensions of your bars once you slice it all up? If I remember is your mold 18”x18”x4, filled to the top of the mold?

TFS does the orange color stain your wash cloths? Looks like something I might like to try with hot process
