Those are cool and fair comments. And I can’t agree more! I think the only similarity between Hermes and Delvaux is the craftsmanship and quality. Other than that, Delvaux is actually quite unique in their style. I like them both and I have bags from both them.

The quality of their products are top notch and the history behind the brand is also interesting. I think it's only a matter of time before this brand really takes off. In the Asian luxury market alot of wealthy person's (more so ladies ) are clamouring for this brand's bags more so the brilliant and tempest so who knows maybe in a few years or shorter this may be another (if not already) a status symbol bag expecially in exotics. Love the new set up btw and the cool box is like a modern take on the lindy and I too am looking into aquiring that bag. Glad ur back .

Nice video. Good job! A very detail introduction to the history of Delvaux and its products. I went to Belgium a few years ago but did not go into the store. There was no customer inside so I was intimidated to go in. Sadly, the brand is no longer owned by Belgians since 2011. While selling the products to foreigners is completely fine, I hope these heritage brands can stand their grounds and not sell their companies to foreigners. I don't exactly know how to describe it but it just changes the "story" behind the brand.

Funny: before I was able to read your take, I had left left a similar comment about Delvaux but written completely differently! It's not owned by the historic family anymore? Now, it makes sense as it has had quite of an impact on their current designs!!!
But, the savoir-faire and craftsmanship are carried out in the traditional way... their workshop didn't get transferred to Hong Kong..
@@jenvogue5005 I was talking about their boutique in HK, not their workshop. I have no doubt their savoir-faire still remains the same. But there is a je ne sais quoi that has changed in the vibes that has changed since the 2000s. Still can't put my finger on it!

whether one carries a Delvaux or not, anyone carrying handbags is indebted to this originator of women's handbags... the quality of their bags are absolutely the best, in some sense even better than Hermes.

My Sunday is complete now that I’ve watch hed my dose of GPS (missed your this past week but it’s good to unplug and get a break. You gave us eye candy on IG). Excellent details about the history of the brand (Delvaux) and type of bags they have. I highly enjoy learning about different brands. I like that mini box bag. I love the shape. I appreciate the highlights of the differences of the brand. We as people tend to lean towards what we’re used to seeing and automatically tie it to that. Your open minded view gives me a clear view that Delvaux differs from Hermès. Thanks again for another great video, GPS.

I am currently in love with a blue and white color blocked Tempete in the architect series with silver hardware. Amazing. Modern and classic at once. So much nicer than big logos on a bag.

Hi GPS, I actually just learned about this brand, coz I bought a Delvaux navy blue tempete from a preloved live platform in Singapore just last Thursday, I am so glad that I bought it n now I owned the first Delvaux luxury bag. I am thinking of buying a Delvaux bucket bag in grey with a pink bottom, the preloved shop has one n I hoped it is still available. What do u think? U think is a good choice? Hope u can give me a good advice.
I have been curious about how the brand quality is since they were bought by a different company. I do have one vintage clutch that I enjoy. We do not have any stores in our city so I am looking forward to this overview.

Do you consider to buy or vlog a mulberry bag? I have a few hermes bag and other luxury bags but mulberry bag is outstanding as well and the quality is soo good.
I considered buying cool box nano in a fun color. I liked everything about the bag but hesitated. Maybe this is a sign.

I think it would easily fit a phone, although I didn't try because my phone never leaves my hands 😅 I think Taurillon is perfect for the Cool Box 🤩

I just received an authentic almost brand new Brillant mini, and I absolutely love it! The quality is excellent, and I love the lack of branding. I'm definitely going to have to get a medium Tempête for my collection.

Those bags in the stores are architectural pieces, the one with an airman's hat and goggles is 🔥 and the teapot one is very sweet.
Personally, I would go for an Hermes bag over a Delvaux one, but I love the Video and how much research you did on the brands heritage.😊😄😀
