it's a actual full eletric 1300 HP hypercar, for only 300k? the performance of YangWang series cars are so technologically advanced, they can do a full 360 turn standing still, full of bell and whistles (that legacy auto makers charges an arm and leg for).
the future of automotive will be fully electric, and China is and will be leading the vanguard of the electric car revolution far into the future.
40 years ago, just a though of this would have been a pipe dream--but this is 2024, this is reality.

Cut corner in like interior decoration to keep the cost down so little people can have fun. Also the government stop subsidy already but it never stop the western media lie. On the other hand the US throw money at US car makers and all their cars are still shit, really make you think Mr. CIA.
On the track its huge power is offset by the heavy LFP batteries. Actual track time as disclosed by BYD is close to a similarly priced 911 (GT3 RS) with half the horsepower. Maybe it's a supercar, but certainly not a hypercar. Cost to performance is not as high as the other Yangwang models.

@TheMaemax0609 The electric car battery is like your phone battery the more you use it the less charge it can hold, so after some usage your range will go down significantly. And these batteries are very sensitive to cold weather and salt water. And there's also not enough resources for electric vehicles for everyone, because the resources used in ev cars can be used to make 90 Hybrid cars.

Lithium ion batteries can last a very long time if you don't charge them to 100%.. phone manufacturers now give you the option to charge to 85%. Battery components are over 90% recyclable.. that's why you see battery recycling stations in various places.
The lithium ion battery has been around since 1974. It's in your cell phone, your ear buds, mobility scooters, laptops, tablets, power tools, etc. Car batteries for ICE cars come in lithium to replace the old lead acid crap.
I can fill my Plaid up for about $9 and I get about 300 miles of range (if I don't lay into the 1020 horsepower)... Meanwhile I'm sure you're spending at least $40 to fill up whatever you're driving. I have an 8 year warranty on the battery pack and electric motors so what's hard about maintaining my car? 🤷
@@JackOfAllCars. It use LFP battery that lasted 3x longer, SAIC and its subsidiaries now give lifetime warranty. English bloke from Shangai said they got lifetime warranty for his Cybersteer.

Norway has the world's highest % of EV cars sold, many of them Chinese (BYD, Nio, Hongqi and more), and none has spontaneously combusted afaik. It'd be big news.
Even many people who actually owns Chinese EVs has no problems with it, and I'd rather trust them than EV haters that has never even touched an EV.

Fun fact, when you said the e4 badge, yes it represents 4 motors. But another brand Denza (collab from Mercedes and BYD) recently launched a new car the Z9 GT and it has the e3 badge instead signifying 3 motors.

😆same pronunciation but different characteristics, Yang (羊) means 'goat', but the BYD Yang (仰) Wang (望) means 'looking up' in Chinese.
Very interesting car but they seriously need to give them better names. No one will boast about driving a Yang Wang
It will be closer to its original pronunciation if you call it "Young Wong". The name is for Chinese domestic customers, when they start exporting it, they will, I guess, give it a suitable name that international customers could accept.
Yang Wang literally means looking up to something in awe, implying the magestic quality of This supercar.

Yeah it's not cheap at all.
Missed opportunity on the inside was some circular yet digital displays instead of a rectangle, maybe even an analog/digital combo. Another thing would be tactile buttons and switches instead of that huge bum display in the center. The displays make it look "CHINESE." I was really impressed by the exterior but the interior is just depressing.
