@@Dalsemien 100% agree. Don't get me wrong, I love Shea, but it felt weird to me the way they forced the "she should have won her season" narrative, and pretty much sold her as the winner from the very beginning of the season. Plus, it was almost disrespectful of Sasha's win at times.
This video doesn't even include Juju's Snatch Game or her finale look from All Stars. How could you not crown her after 10 years of ruling over her seasons? If there ever was on Honorary Crown (the way they offer an honorary Academy Awards) they should give to her.
@@RecklessViolet I think it would have been a double win/tie if we hadn't of had the politically-fuelled double win for Monet and Trinity. The ONLY reason Money tied with Trinity was because of politics and social media pressure, and in essence that cost Jujubee a tied win with Shea because nobody wanted another tie, even though Juju and Shea would, I think, have been more than happy to share a crown.

You can really tell that even as far back as Season 2, RuPaul genuinely liked Jujubee. So often when Ru's making chit chat with contestants, it feels like exactly that--just small talk between people who will never see each other again. But she's actually engaged with what Jujubee has to say.

When Ru interacts with Juju, it's almost as if you can feel they're on the same wavelength, if that makes sense? I mean, compared to other Ru girls, Juju's vibe with Ru is almost like a bestie. Juju is just oozing with charisma, like you always wanna be her friend.
I think cause theyre almost like from the same generation of drag queens, the struggles, the questionable choices, the addictions, all the pitfalls that Ru no longer talks about but still sees mirrored in Juju. Those first 3 season girls are on a whole other level that we'll never see again really, or at least not like they were able to just be before Drag became the juggernaut it is now.
@@elisam.2896 Exactly this! Some of Ru's interactions with Juju are some of the rarer moments where he's completely himself/genuine on the show. I think they relate to each other a lot.
i met juju as himself at a hair salon i got to wash his hair and he was super sweet, what ya see is what u get he is not a fake person.
The reality is when Drag Race starts giving out honorary crowns, like the Academy gives honorary Oscars, Jujubee needs to get at least 10 crowns.

I always loved the fact that Raven was shady to or dismissive of most of the queens on both her seasons but lived for Jujubee each time.

She felt she was on the same level. Same with Tyra, she somewhat respected her gig.
Juju's sync battle with Raven truly brought me to tears, you can truly see their emotion.
There friendship is so strong and this juts shows you how much of a heart Ru has.
Jujubee and Raven's lip sinc battle was just so emotional from beginning to end, it's just so sad how they had to fight for their place as Juju literally had a meltdown

Honestly, given that reality shows like this often thrive on the sad or kooky backstory, Ru was probably expecting something more emotional and didn't expect it when Jujubee was just super blunt about a sad situation.
As someone who lost her mom early in my life, I completely understand where she is coming from with her bluntness. At some point, you get over the sad memory and make it into a source of strength.

Just seeing Jujubee’s face makes me feel so happy.
I think it's safe to say that part of the reason the library challenge has been as essential to Drag Race is because of how incredible JuJu's reads were in the very first one. She was HANDS DOWN the best reader of the bunch, something she continued all the way into All-Stars 5. Kinda like how Pandora and Tatianna's performances in Snatch Game helped solidify that challenge as a mainstay.
