because of the "police brutality" issue in America, every officer involved shooting gets investigated and the officers get put on administrative leave until cleared of wrongdoing
Rightfully so because cops are out of control here. The ones that get me are the cops who obviously done wrong yet are back at work only to get caught years later for some other crazy BS.

Donut's real name is Cody. He is former Navy and former police and SWAT. He was in for 5 years before he left for content creation finding his niche in explaining police videos from the perspective of a cop. He he has no problem throwing the bad cops under the jail and doesn't avoid those videos when they happen. He went through BUDS before having to drop the first time due to an injury from falling off an obstacle onto his back - he went back for a 2nd try but rang out. He was in the same class as Mr Ballen. Yes I'm a donut fan and I've been watching him since he was at 10-20k subs. I also remember the news articles of him finding a stray kitten and adopting him and keeping the kitten with him while on patrol because he had to bottle raise it.
cars are 'classified' as lethal force in the States, so ramming another vehicle, or attempting to run someone over is grounds for lethal force in return

Yeah here in Montana; they are offered counseling for PTSD if the officer requests it. I doubt many do though; since I would think that is a double edged sword for the officer's chance to return to duty.

Yes he was former Navy if I remember correctly than was a police officer in South Carolina for 3 years now he uses his channel to help and support officers featured in his videos. He Brandon Herrera, Angry Cops and Fat Electrician make up the 4 best friends. He even guest stared on Brandon Herraras Darwin Awards 14 that just came out.
Quacks over the gunshots became a thing in Donut's videos quite long time ago. But recently, by following viewers requests, new arrangment was introduced: quacks are for police gunshots only, and criminals got a new, rooster crowing noise. As a bonus, stun grenades got a huge doggo bark sound.
Donut introduced these as a measure to soften up gunshots and by that, to avoid CZcams strikes.

Probably not a thing across the board, But talking to local cop friends they have a means of diabling some of the safety stuff like air bags ( a switch pretty much they hit when they do a traffic stop) for the very reason you see in this video. Criminals have figured out if they reverse into a police car and deploy the air bags in the car the police car is out of service and they can just drive away and escape

Ford Crown Victoria is a very strong car, there built like trucks - body on frame. The car went a very high rate of speed that's how it got on top of the vic. The guy wanted to die, wasn't isn't in a normal state of mind.

He does history content but does a focus on stories about men and events that get overlooked. He is an awesome story teller and his content does not disappoint. Ryan...just so you know. In every one of Donut's videos; he uses quack sound for every shot fired. So yeah that guy definitely got pew pewed(or quack quacked in this case).
Edit: In Montana it is standard procedure for a cop to go on paid leave after a shooting pending investigation. He will be giving counseling if he asks for it(in case of PTSD) and once the shooting is determined to be a good shooting; he will be cleared to return to duty he will do so.
If the shooting had looked like and been determined to be a bad shooting he would most likely not gotten paid leave and be terminated. I think it depends on each department's policies. I also commented over on the Unsub channel that you were interested in hooking up with them for a pod cast and shoot some guns. Hopefully yall can get together during a range day event. I would love to see a video from you once on the experience once you got home.

You should definitely react to more stuff like this. I find your reaction to the violence level of your average American citizen to be very amusing. I’m also interested in a military man’s perspective on civilian police matters.
But yeah, people who attack police in U.S. will die. Since the entire populace is armed and any civilian could be concealed carrying a weapon (knife or gun) the police really have to be careful, any day on patrol could be their last.
We have a few cities called Arlington, the big one is Arlington Virginia. Smaller cities like to copy at the names of big successful cities, or the steal the names of famous people for their city. The name of Cincinnati comes from the famed Roman Cincinnatus. It’s just a quirk of our naming, like U.K. having completely unpronounceable city names and street names that don’t sound like they are spelled at all lol.
