But i really love that scene where Samuel gets dragged by the Shark. It's just awesome and was so unexpected when I first watched it.

The spoof titles you guys do usually get at least a chuckle or a smirk out of me, but the Sharktank Redemption made me spew root beer all over the place, it's freaking perfect

To date, one of my favorite mid-to-late 90's era movies. Mimic, The Relic, Deep Blue Sea, Wing Commander, Ghosts of Mars ... they don't make movies like these anymore, nor will they ever. The movies represented a specific era in culture and in movie-making, and remain one of my favorite eras out there. Plus, who can deny Saffron Burrows hotness in this?

I love this movie, with all the silliness. It has a great soundtrack, charming performances, and it's just cool.
In all seriousness, Trevor Rabin's score for Deep Blue Sea was SO beautiful and under-recognised.
I remember the summer of 1999. I dragged my mom to three movies: Deep Blue Sea, Lake Placid and The Blair Witch Project. I really enjoyed the first two. I'm embarrassed to admit I sat through the entirety of the third thinking it'd get better.

Just throwing this out there but if you really want to see the real king of good bad shark movies Ghost Shark is so much sillier than Sharknado. It is so cringeytaining that it makes Sharknado seem like Birdemic 2 compared to the Room.

Jaws, the shallows, and this are my top three favorite shark movies tbh. The genre is pretty limited and kinda shallow after jaws to begin with so I mean ya know lol they did the best with what they could. And I thought the shallows had a more original plot line at least.
