I just joined the Focus ST2 family, I cant wait to see my ST a couple years from now. I already am amazed by the sheer ability of this car and am super excited to just wake up every day and jump in my car and enjoy the ride. Great mods and vids. 👍

I drive a fiesta ST, my buddy has this exact same exhaust and tune. A little too loud for my taste but the sound is amazing. No hate from me guys! I have a catless DP with res delete on stock exhaust and a loud crackle tune with aggressive response on my car. Love it.
after getting my focus I will never straight pipe after this video.

I used to have a 03 focus with a mbrp $240 shipped. It sounded better then every other brand. I want one for my 2013 ford escape 2.0 Turbo but they will probably never make one. IMO the trick to get a 4cyl engine to sound good with exhaust is: Never Remove The Cat. Even the high flow cats start causing horrible sounding exhaust. With that said, do what you want, and it sounds great. Great channel.

It's crazy how loud the crackles get when you open up the exhaust. My pops and crackles are so tiny in comparison haha.

***** Just a muffler delete. I have the stratified loud crackles and pops and they have a nice deep bass like tone, but not too loud. Every now and then you get a pretty loud pop while shifting.
***** Yeah. Check my playlists. I have two videos of the muffler delete sounds with one of them featuring the crackles and pops. I suggest wearing headphones for the crackles and pops one.
Those both deleted will sound louder than mine but I don't think it will be on this level.

The crackles are a little generic sounding to me like the stock symposer but it's a matter of opinion. Glad your buddy is catless though, the crackles will destroy your cat otherwise. Btw love the new drone camera, it's tough to fly those things

No hate, just love for the Focus here, I drive a 17 SE hatch that I'm just doing visual stuff for BUT: I think it crackes too much on the decel. Some pops and burble is nice but banging all they way down RPM will be hard to not get a ticket for especially in a residential. Good luck bros.

I love my Strat Tune. There is a way to control it I've learned it's all the control of the gas pedal. There is a dead spot that you are giving gas but not really. you just keep tapping in that dead zone and it will pop for hours ;) Pop on command basically

I had a turbo back 3" exhaust straight through, running Stratfield E85 tune for all of 2 weeks before I had the cops behind me at night and flames were coming out of the exhaust. the cop told me look tough and sound even tougher but didn't stop him from defecting me and sending me to the pits.

Koriginal ST the "pits" is the name given for dmv or where the police send your car once it's been deemed un-road worthy, so the car can be certified ok again.
Not hating or anything, but those crackles are a little much. He should tone it down to give it a cleaner sound

It’s cause your exhaust setup is properly different. It says in the stratified page that it varies depending on your exhaust setup

Sounds like absolute garbage. Sounds like a fukin 82 tercel that needs a tune up. Put the resonator back on and should tone it down a bit. That thing needs a tune real bad.
Brandon Pike it has a tune. The tune intentionally makes it sound that way.
Im not talking a tuner can tune. Dyno tuned with a wide band to get the fuel right. Go find a BOV that's also has a adjustable bypass. U can adjust how much gets vented to atmosphere and how much gets vented back to intake. Venting sat 80-90 to intake and 20-10 percent to atmosphere will allow turbo to spool quicker and still retain that almighty whoosh whoosh everyone wants. U really only need to vent all pressure to atmosphere with really high boost with anti lag tuning like dumping excess fuel to prevent ovetboost. There's a reason why companies liked Porsche uses a diverted valve instead of BOV and its not just because of noise. Porsche uses same turbo maker as the ST too. KKK. Also ur tranny is made in Germany.

Jonathan Mendez from what ive heard cobb tunes are extremely bad. Issues with detonation and pre ignition are very common. Thats literally the last thing you want on a boosted 4 banger. These tunes are not just as good as a dyno tune, not every vehicle is necessarily the same. a 2.0 ecoboost motor with 20,000 miles on it compared to one with 180,000 miles on it might run slightly different due to wear and tear. And for dyno tuning typically they use a wideband o2 sensor. these motors are already equipped with one from the factory.
good way to blow your motor up, but tbh it makes me sick seeing all these focus st owners stratified tuned with those gay pop and crackles. and making there cars look ugly no wonder all of us st big turbo built motor owners are leaving the scene.
I'm an American mucle guy but I do like these cars. The crackling is a bit anoying but at least it's not a Honda eBay fart can. It's a mbrp tip and they are nice
