  • The DB11 V8 is clearly the finest road-going car Aston has ever produced.
    Complete with cat-walk looks, a sumptuous interior and a storming 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers immense performance and sound track, like so many things in life, the V8 proves that less is most definitely more.

    2.35 "the rear end, the torsional stiffness has gone up expidentially". Er what? There's no such word. Think you mean exponentially.

    Question now is, will AM fix that known problem with the rear suspension of the V12's? ( gratis, of course! )

    • @markchip1
      @markchip1 Před 7 lety

      TheMister Mann - I think it's more to do with the weight distribution being significantly greater at the front in the V12 than any particular aspect of the suspension. Yes, the rates are slightly different (because of that difference in balance) but that doesn't account for the major difference in driving characteristics. Therefore there is no magic bullet solution for the V12 dynamics, free or otherwise.

      MrKayzeemoschino. Dude, prestigious car companies can’t change shit whenever they want. It’s not outdated, type in “Aston Martin DB11 Flythrough” into the CZcams searchbar, and watch the video. You’ll see that the interior isn’t outdated, but rather classy.
      Same goes for the Bentley’s and Rolls-Royce’s.

      czcams.com/video/HbRSE_2NWjw/video.html just watched this , DB11 interior is not outdated at all but for someone like young people i understand that you want futuristic interior but this a GT , Daily Drive car is so much sophisticated and comfortable.

      Ali Mirza why not? And they don't give it away they sell it to Aston so they don't have to spend so much money on engine R&D

      Charlie Chetwood So what is it about for a sport car? design? it's is a beautiful car, but should have more performance as it is a sport car

    • @charliechetwood2358
      @charliechetwood2358 Před 6 lety +6

      Canal Oval It isn't a sports car first of all, it is a Grand Tourer. Hence the performance from say 60 - 100 is far more important if you really want to look at figures at all. Otherwise it's about the comfort and craftsmanship of the interior and the class and brand of the exterior that make it a desirable car to buy and use. Performance isn't everything. Although 4.0 seconds is still very good

      @user-hs2hd7wp9g Před 6 lety +2

      0-100 in 4s is more than quick enough, very few people are actually capable of pushing it to its limit (except if they're professional drivers)

    • @alessandrob8507
      @alessandrob8507 Před 6 lety

      Yep, this car stands on a league on its own along with Jaguar, Maserati, Mercedes and so on. it's not meant to be a circuit animal and that's fine.
