Even though i know this is a joke, im having to laugh at this ordeal. Onstar actually find the local station and transfers the call to them over the 911 line. Its faster to call 911 yourself then it is to deal with Onstar..

@@KNine36 technically, people are filled with adrenaline and wouldnt tell of a break for a little time afterwards. Complete severing of the arms i can see. It's also good for vehicles that the person has been killed or ejected from as it give direct location and notification. Usually, majority if people would have already dialed 911. Of course, there are times where noone does or even witnesses the accident as its say off a cliff, vacant road at night ect. That's where it's handy.

Yeah I guess it's like, He probably knows all the steps he's going to have to deal with. Because he's not injured it's just going to involve a ton of insurance and towing and repairs and stuff like that. I've had so many cops use the excuse when confronted about typing on their on board computer or using their phone while driving, say they are trained to use those while driving.
No one is trained to drive distracted or to take thier eyes off the road. This is exactly what I tell my students while teaching at a cdl school

I have seen people on the opposite side of the road wreck, and/or swerve around obstacles more times than I can count. Scanning oncoming traffic isn't much different than watching for animals that may run across the road.(deer, dogs, etc.)

In Oklahoma, distracted driving in general is prohibited by. §47-11-901b, which requires drivers to “devote their full time and attention to such driving.” The cops should keep an eye out for this guy.

looked to me the other driver did not intentionally cross the median. looked like they had lost control. For all we know they themselves were tagged by another vehicle, but it is easy to get distracted by watching the side of the screen where an officer is texting while driving, which is something John Q. I was 17 at the time stopped at a light in my 240SX, I'm thinking "there's no way he doesn't spin the story to his side", so I laned-over into the far left-turn lane as he slammed into the back of the car that was in front of me in the inner-right left-turn lane. I got to casually drive away, unscathed. Always check your six.
