Cooperation, even and especially when you are in the wrong will almost always lead to deescalation. Refusing an order of a police officer, regardless of your belief in their rightness is a recipe for a bad day for all involved. Police see everyone’s worst days all stacked together. You think it’s a bad day when you have to deal with the cops, imagine being the cops dealing with people at their worst all day.

They have so many actual criminals to care about, they almost always let me go without a problem, except two times when they gave me a ticket but they were nice about it and that was only two times out of 10. There's a certain attitude and courtesy to have when talking with police officers, as in don't bullshit them, recognise your wrong doings, crack a few jokes to let them know you're not nervous, just basic courteous human interaction.
The fact that she immediately sat down and blocked them from getting to her man is a telltale sign that she knew he would be arrested. Zeah Vere having false plates is a crime, the one driving the vehicle would be at fault, its his fault for drawing a gun on them, they follows training. This shooting was justified.
I know that everyone is dissing cops at this point in time, but these cops gave them every opportunity to cooperate. If they had just stepped out of the car and been cooperative none of this other shit would have happened.
Normal person: oh geez officer I wasn't aware of this simple traffic infraction. Here's my name, I guess I'll take the ticket and be on my way...maybe I'll fight it in court later.
This person: I guess I'll just shoot my way out.
That is ALWAYS the case. Cooperate always.

I understand why I didn't have troubles with the police everytime I got pulled over when I was living in the USA; I was cooperative and they quickly found out I wasn't any bad guy they were looking for.

In some states, cops don't need to get their supervisors just because a citizen asks. Most police officers oblige in an attempt to diffuse the situation. Sometimes it works, usually not.
@@DutchTraveler
I've yet to see one video where getting a supervisor de-escalated a situation. It has quite the opposite effect.
