@@beyou2250 Right, I have some been in 7 weeks, i did some for my daughter who is 7 and left them in almost 3 month, no breakage and they thickened up her hair alot. She will be getting more for school.
got some in right now, not extensions though, only braids i ever wear : micros with or without extensions

Lol. It’s not that bad if they are installed neatly and you pace yourself while taking them down.
Danielle lol you'd have to convert them to dreads then or you'd be rocking Africa on top Asia on the bottom.
You can always put condition on your hair and take them down it's easier to take down

I do small braids on my own hair it takes forever to put them in & to take out so I leave them in for 2 to 3 months & yes I shampoo my scalp & the braids every 2 weeks b4 someone say something stupid becuz I know there are fools out there who think we don't wash our hair when wearing fake hair

I wash my hair before and after I get my hair braided. If you kerp your hair clean and wrapped up at night...you would not need to wash your braids every 2 weeks!!
I had mine in for 5 months and yes I washed the and my hair grew alot it took 9 hours but worth it Getting them again for back to school!!

I tried this method when doing my moms and it literally took me 6 hours to complete the crown and then a half day to complete the middle. I loved that the parting allowed me to get them all the same size! Thank you for the tutorial

My aunt been doing my micros for about 5 years now and it has my hair growin great. Good protective hairstyle and what i love most is that you can get up and go. Takes me two days to take them though

If I were in Diego it'd be on!! Since I've moved out to Fresno, NO ONE has gotten it right!! I've asked for invisible AND micros and get looked at like I'm crazy!! I miss being back east!! This looks AWESOME!! I may just have to make the trip!!

Back in the days I used to rock the hell out of these. When I was ready to take them out I’ll start washing n conditioning them. They’ll slide right out. Never lost my edges

Micro twist are easier to take out than the braids. You simply cut them a little below where your hair stops. Since it’s twisted they will rotate as you untwist.
I'm 46 years old and I use to wear micros and ty zillions all the time back in the 90's and early 2000's..I'm definitely going back to wearing them, they was so convenient and versatile and it grew out my hair too never had a problem with it breaking off!
YES!! I believe micros are a GREAT protective style when installed correctly and maintained properly. PLUS that is the closet protective braid style to straight hair. You can do SOOOOO MUCH to it!
Yep I do mine at least 1x a yr and I curse and say I won't again but I just ordered mine ro do this weekend and they are half the size of these.

I did my own micros took 7hrs I love this style it last for however you take care of it I usually do 3months. These are beautiful 😍
If it took you 7 hours, then they were not micro braids, trust me.

I like that she did them small all over...I got mines done one time and when she was done she put it up in a ponytail. It looked so nice. I got home took the ponytail down the whole middle was posted in big blocks it looked a mess
