I tried this method last year for vacation. I didn't do every braid. The bad part was that it tangled so bad but the good part was because it was crotched in, I was able to cut those pieces out and still had a nice braided look. Lol.

I like this method especially for me who will be using synthetic hair, once it gets matted i remove it and neaten up the hair or even change the colour.

That’s how we did micro braids since I moved here in 2001, I remember trying to convince my sister African American to do box braids using synthetic hair….. they will be like it will cut there hair 😮, but now everyone doing braids with synthetic hair. But yeah Lady you are good 👍.

I hadn't had micro braids for years until a month ago and had my hair styled wanting human hair only, stylist said they couldn't use human hair and synthetic hair was used, terrible itching this is my second time around in a month readdressing micros but I'm looking for a different stylist, there are some who will use human hair only yet it is hard getting acquainted with one as some of these stylists are unbelievable to deal with, you can't get questions answered, some of them when you leave a message they don't return the call and I just want to say I really appreciate the heart of this stylist here, every question that I had and I just stumbled across this video yet my questions have been answered and I know what to look for concerning my supplies, now I need a braider stylist with a Heart Like Yours.

I’m glad I saw this video. I’ve done this placement but with medium box braids. I have a crochet in right now but I’ll be doing micro braids before the summer is over. Probably leave them in for the rest of the year switching colors etc. my hair is short and I want it to grow longer and healthier. First let me say that I loved this braid pattern and how at the end you pulled the hair through with the crochet hook, Genius. I did micro braids a couple of years back with 18 inch hair. It did not look right because of my hair length. They were always cute during my baldheaded life.
