Jerichos final paycheck seems like it doesnt even fit on this list but 3 mins for $100k is a dream
The promo he cut that day did a lot more to give them their money's worth. 📋 🖊
You don't pay a surgeon for carrying out a 15 min long surgery. You pay him for his qualifications, all the years he spent in medical school, all the years he spent working the night shift at the hospital to get to where he is today.
Jericho wasn't paid for a 3 min appearance. He's built his brand and star power through graft over 2 decades.
@@siddhantahuja351 The fact you have to explain specialization is ludicrous.
WWE paying Floyd Mayweather for a one on one singles match against The Big Show at WrestleMania was an insanely estimated amount of money.
He's Floyd MONEY Mayweather. Not Floyd Pocketchange Mayweather.
Shows his drawing power!
@@Meatman8089 Of course he is, they don't just call him that for no reason.
I remember hearing floyd doesn’t do anything for less than 20m. After 100m+ paydays from fights with Conor Mcgregor and manny pacquiao we gotta respect the man for knowing his worth.
@@matthewanthony4606 facts WWE got him for cheap if they where to book him now oh boy
If Goldberg got 2 then you know the Undertaker got 5+
Doubt it
@@matthewanthony4606 he better have since he nearly killed if not almost killing taker career
Nah he's a company man
@@jedipadwan20 They both botched pretty bad.
Undertaker admitted that they both were gassed horribly and had no business carrying on that long in a match.
They don't call him Floyd "Money" Mayweather for nothing 😂
Almost spit out my food when they said 15 million for Fury. Vince and co. could never recoup that much from tickets or buys to justify that.
Wwe be getting 100M for Crown Jewel . 15M is nothing
I was watching a documentary on the history of Wrestlemania and it was said that sometimes Vince is ok with taking a loss as long as they put on one hell of a show. It was a WWE documentary that was on Netflix
Yah it’s an investment. Investment of putting on show to hook new customers and views. Basic marketing really. Take a loss now for future gains.
@@erickrobson60 exactly
Saudi paid that
$2 million for literally the worst match of all time!!! Damn... I'm happy when I get time and a half!
I'm really interested what the undertaker got for that because if Bill Goldberg got two main The undertaker probably got f****** 10.
@@justinverderber40 I was thinking like 5 mill maybe, 10 mill sounds a bit much
I can see why so many wrestlers in WWE never leave. They'd get paid well enough to Not wrestle for anyone else.
That's a crazy amount of money and not to mention a lot of these guys even stay after their end ring careers are done as party of creative which is also cool.
*every person who left for AEW doesn’t exist apparently*
But these guys want “creative freedom” 😂😂😂😂😂 man stack ya paper it’s a fake sport anyway
@@DW-jy6et exactly pay me 30-100k to do nothing sounds like a dream
@@retronerds6884 but eventually when wwe fires the, no one remembers them as they were not in font of camera for so many months or years, leading to not a very good career afterwards
I could never figure out how major companies forget a talent's contract is expiring, especially if they're going to throw a belt on them.
Nah Vince didn't suspend the Ultimate Warrior he FIRED him after the show immediately.
Until he showed up in WCW, I spent months wondering what happened to Jeff Jarrett after No Mercy 1999. I don’t think they had too much backstage information on wrestlers back then.
FACTS.
It’s not as simple as that, most of these appearances were scheduled way in advance and had been heavily advertised/marketed for months.. and WWE obviously profit from this significantly so technically these celebrities aren’t just getting paid for the match itself but for all the other stuff leading up to it too
Social media and news in General wasn't as easily accessible in 99 as it is now
@@TeeJayMillz exactly. Especially if the person has a huge following.
Had to call those 1-900 wrestling hotlines back then with mean gene to get all the back stage info
I remember hearing and reading Jeff Jarrett held Vinny Mac up for $300,000 due to royalties owed to him.
Yeah idk where 200,000 came from
the way Jerrico feared Tyson's punch reaching his face🤣🤣
As we all should be
Never been this early. Love your channel, Wrestlelamia!!!!!
Honestly, Jeff Jarrett really didn't hold up McMahon because his contract had expired and JJ gave his free agent fee to wrestle.
$20 Million Dollars Holy Sh1T. 🤯
Brock Lesnar got paid $15 Million Dollars to only wrestle 2 Matches. SummerSlam & Wrestlemania.
Floyd was called "Money Mayweather" for a reason.
He was a massive star in the world of boxing, and he was paid as such.
One of the GOATS
Now he is in his final form TBE “the best ever” Floyd
I'll beet Mayweather
The story of Undertaker Wrestling John Cena @ Wrestlemania 34 was absolutely hilarious especially with John Cena Confronting Undertaker's Daughter since even she was disappointed of the Match I believe that was mentioned during the last ride documentary I could be totally wrong here
Taker said his daughter is a huge Cena fan and she was so upset when he beat him so backstage John gave her some of his merchandise and told her that he and Taker were friends and she felt better lol
@@remingtonbouyer LMAO 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Oh hush you know you just finished watching the documentary and you remember everything vividly.
I’m surprised Cain Valesquez didn’t make this list.
In UFC, he beat Brock Lesnar in one of the biggest upsets in history. He then made his WWE Debut against Lesnar, but was squashed by tapping out in two minutes. Fans questioned what he was thinking agreeing to this, but it was the money
In the end, he was paid $750,000 for less than two minutes of fighting
20 million dollars?! Who he think he is Chelsea Clinton 🤔 🤣
😂 czcams.com/video/ebYA4cj6MiE/video.html
😂😂😂
🤣🤣
😁
Imagine how much he brought in though
I’m curious how much Austin made on his return match. He did a better job than half this list of performers and is still one of the biggest names to date
This is the kind of juicy wrestling content we need! Ofc the best wrestling yt channel would post this kind of vid! keep em coming! 🔥
I get the fact that Goldberg wrestled in his undoubtedly disastrous match against The Undertaker back at Super showdown or crown jewel but I gotta say atleast he still put in the work and got paid a lot of money for that single match.
It wasn't WrestleMania 34 it was either super show down or crown jewel in Saudi Arabia against Undertaker!!
@@mariorodriguez7803 Oh sorry, thanks for correcting me
It's all good bro, we all make mistakes, I'm not gonna eat your lunch over something so tiny!!
@@mariorodriguez7803 Right
I mean his thing was he got put there put in the work and got paid he never ment to entertain during any of his runs in wrestling he just got out there spear them a bunch jackhammer and got paid
You gotta admit Lesnar is worth every penny whenever he's in the ring.
That is true WWE needs him and he knows it
Not really. He just does suplexes

$3,000,000... Yep, that explains why HBK came out of retirement after 8 years for a random one-off match at Crown Jewel. Can't really blame him with that kind of paycheck.
3.5mil for one appearance in the mid 90s. That's crazy for back then
I was at the show where Mayweather broke big shows jaw.
Nose, not jaw
@@Justwatching746
Did you see his jaw afterwards? He probably broke both nose and jaw
@@RojoCube no I didn’t. I have watched a ton of interviews in the past and Big Show said his nose was broken. He said he even told Mayweather to break his nose. He never mentioned his jaw. Hard to imagine Floyd being able to hit hard enough to break Big Shows jaw.
@@Justwatching746
It's not hard at all to imagine that he broke shows jaw. Shows left side of his jaw was black and blue. Big bruise. I was talking about the raw where Mayweather punched show mouth. Not at WM. He was also spitting up blood too
@@RojoCube thanks for the info. I definitely was not aware. I’ll have to look into it.
Big show deserved that payday for unrealistically putting over someone a quarter of his size
Insane how they can pay that much for so little time.... Wow congrats to all them stars
Chris Jericho paycheck for $100000 was severance that’s why it was so much for that one four minutes entry.
20 mln for one match?INSANEE
I am your #1 Fan
Wtf. How’d you get that handle?
its funny an even sometimes sad how much or little wrestlers get or got paid
guess that's why a "nosebleed" seat at the "Royal Rumble" here in San Antonio in January is listed at $40... top level back row... no thanks...
"I need the money, man. I need the money". That's what Iron Mike said at the WM XIV post-show presser...we know why he was suspended from boxing, and how Shane and Vince struck that deal...
uff i never realized how bad the jackhammer botch was.. mark could be paralized or dead
Dang #Tyson got $3.5 mill back then imagine how much that's worth now a days.
Rip Christine mcvie
3:13 Why Bret Hart Hates Goldberg.
Lmfao the shawn micheal thumbnail 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Goldberg got 2 million to fight taker at super showdown, Taker got 2 million to squash Cena at WM 34, Brock got 3 million to squash Strauman, Shawn Michaels got 3 million in the tag match with taker, kane, & HHH. Mike Tyson got 3.5 when Steve fought Shawn at WM 14. They gave Floyd 20 million to fight Big show. So I’m not delusional.
Vince didn't suspended Ultimate Warrior he fired him on the spot .
Didn’t pay him what he asked for either
@@barbwatkins8483 actually he did right before he fired him.
If someone could clear this up for me that would be great because I’m a little confused… How is it that someone like Brock got 2-3 million for a single match even though he’s under contract with the WWE and I would assume is already getting paid annually?
I'd assume it's because the Saudi shows aren't covered under regular contract appearances, but that's just a guess. Also, contract work doesn't mean your employer can't give you a bonus.
Brock's contract with the wwe is the most paid... He gets paid approx 100k $ per raw/ SmackDown appearance... And minimum 500k for a ppv... Also he has a big share in merch and his name is enough toh sell a ppv.
1:49 Jeff Jarrett’s controversial departure in 1999 lead to him being BLACKLISTED from WWE for almost two decades.
5:16 The match was a flat out disaster, effectively ruining the rest of the broadcast along with Shane McMahon’s controversial World Cup win, and the infamous main event where Undertaker and Kane teamed up against Triple H and Shawn Michaels.
8:10 The match was also a no disqualification match.
I’d put Lanny Poffo on this list as an honourable mention.....WCW Paid him for either 2 or 3 years just because he is Macho Mans brother...Of course they never used him once...I forget the amount per year..I think it may have been $175K..No matter what it was..it was all free money...👊
Lol I skipped watching BigShow VS Floyd during WM when it was live.
ok that explains why Merryweather said that he's the $20M man during the weigh-in between him and Big Show on Raw back in 2008. cause he was foreshadowing what he was paid for that match.
I'd be pissed if I was on the active roster and the Saudi show came up
Biggest house show and undertaker or Shawn Michael's comes out of retirement to get the main event money
We all in the wrong business we should join wwe lol I'd gladly take 3 million for 3 minutes like Jericho did
I think even jobbers receive an ok payday to do the job I’ll gladly to the job for a big dude
HE crushed that Lionsault
It's come out since that it was Vince Russo who encouraged his buddy Jeff Jarrett to wait until his contract had expired to hit Vince McMahon up for that money to drop the IC title to Chyna.
Insane
I don’t know how you figure mcmahon got the last laugh with Warrior. He paid him $550k. Warrior wasn’t a fan of wrestling and it was about getting paid. He laughed all the way to the bank.
It's hard for me to wrap my mind around a person getting 15 million and another person getting 20 million I've had times where I've said my head hurts thinking about that but this is on a whole another level almost feels like I got a lobotomy.
Please share the title of the song in the background 🔥
Now I know why Jeff Jarrett went to WCW and then TNA when WWE was available for him to return during the WCW Invasion
Well, on the last Nitro, Vince called him out by name, saying on air his services weren’t required, so…
Vince didn't want him back and said as much on TV. He was still pissed at the stunt Jarrett pulled.
Paying $15m to Tyson Fury is like throwing your hard earned money down the drain. The guy is the most over hyped and useless boxer in history
Bro Tyson Fury is a wack boxer, he really does not have the attraction of a superstar like Floyd, Pacquiao, Tyson, Maidana, Ricky Hatton and etc
Mayweather lit big show up
Well Goldberg gets loads of money for his one match disasters..🤣🤣
BORK LAZER
Big show the only one who really gave Mayweather the fight for his life you can hear the pain when he squashed him and threw him like a rag doll.
Not surprised the biggest isn't a wrestler but more surprised by the amount and that it was a boxer as opposed to someone else.
🔥
Steiner now get $20 and a sandwich to wrestle in a High School gym with an audience of 25.
I'm sure stone cold after his match with Owens would be somewhere on this list.
Even with these amounts, Kurt Angle’s $10M asking price for a retirement match still seems outrageous.
Win a medal for your country, then you can gatekeep someone's career.
after all the blood and sweat it was the least they could do
Ultimate warrior wouldve had a hella great hold up number these days
Tbh HBK didn't need the money since he was already getting enough from being part of NXT backstage
Surprised the Rock wasn't on this list.
Vince suspended the warrior for wanting half a mil, but he gave wrestlers 3 mil for 3 min.
I wonder what's the lowest they got paid.
WTF I wouldn't pay Jeff Jarrett 200k even in Venezuelan bolivars.
Damn, Shaun looks old asf in that thumbnail....
I never miss an opportunity to say; SlapNuts
Howard Stern wanted a million for an appearance. Vince said nooool!
Wow $20M for Floyd surprised me. But hey, his match was probably the most entertaining on this list lol.
gotta love that sweet saudi money!!!
I can't believe the highest payment was 20 million dollars compare to super crazy that got paid 500 dollars
Super crazy deserved better he could’ve been an ok mid carder or feud with Rey mysterio ala mysterio vs psicosis
I wonder how much Warrior got for his run in at WM8
money talks. but when they pay these bulk deals and guys get cut because of budget reasons never adds up to me.
Floyd Mayweather put on a great performance with Big Show. He needs to comeback to WWE asap.
That's Floyd asking price done went up since then 🤣😭
It amazes me every day, that Wrestlers are paid so low amounts.
I dont mean about these paydays for one matches, but the overall contracts.
Jericho was not in the best shape for that night, was he?
Dude its name value and how much are u worth
My question is how much did Haruki Sumi (nee Yokozuna) make that same match in HIS last WWE match?😂👍
3.5mil and that was like 30 years ago damn tyson
Wow just wow
1:01 i don’t believe you are you telling me he wasn’t paid more than that as Undisputed champion I thought get paid big as champion
Yeah those legends such as Goldberg, HBK, Undertaker, and Lesnar damaged their legacy by taking the money, and delivered a bad match.
You damaged their legacy but thinking that way. Most people just move on or remember the parts they liked, not relish in misery.
@@brysoncherry9884 Wrong! It's people like you who damaged their legacy for wanting them to wrestle again, knowing that they're too old and washed-up. Undertaker has a bad health, and HBK committed to his retirement. Y'all want them to have dream matches when it's already long overdue.
Love wwe
Damn I have to work all year just for 200K
I'm sure plenty of wrestlers earned way more than 100k for one match
Wonder how much Stone Cold got for coming out of Retirement to face Kevin Owens? Gotta be a few million!
I would love to know how much Logan Paul made for the Reigns match at Crown Jewel ! 🤑
Vince put the E in WWE
What was the deal with such a short match with Taker and Cena?
WM24 Made 23M in PPV buys and 6M for the gate. There is no way they would've given Floyd 20M
How bout the rock, how much did they paid him when he was participating in WM?
Do this list again without the bloody oil money. That would interest me.
Former WWF attitude
Upcoming the rock in wrestlemania is gonna beat everyone n maybe claim the number 2 spot at least
