Marcus Allen You can thank the anime for that. Blue-Eyes White Dragon was officially white, with blue eyes. When adapting it from the manga to the anime, they made it blue. The reason he's white in Dark Side of Dimension's, is because it's following the manga, not the anime.
It was white in season 0.
It's a common trick they use in animation to tint something that's pale metallic slightly blue to make it look more silver-y (since something that's straight up white looks really really dull on the screen when it's the entire monster). They certainly went hella overboard with it though I'll say that, as good as it looks in the more dramatic scenes where they've obviously put more effort in.

@@SakuraAvalon I'm pretty sure in Battle City when Kaiba summoned Blue Eyes, it was a White Dragon, not a Blue One. Also, if we're really talking about how the color palettes on DSOD actually confirms it follows the Manga continuity, then Yami's eyes should be red instead of purple.

@@phantomnite The card's Japanese name is "God Blaze Cannon" (based on one of Ra's attack names in the manga/anime). The Japanese name of the Volcanic support cards is "Blaze Cannon" (not "Blaze Accelerator"). Therefore it is technically part of the support, even though it has no connection to the rest of that archetype. The English version includes a name condition, to maintain any synergies from the OCG.
"Bandit Keith was about that action" LMAO for real he was the only villain who didn't conform to the shōnen trope of "The laws of our universe dictate I must defeat you in a children's trading card game." He beat the shit out of people, stole from them, held the creator of Duel Monsters at gunpoint; the only time Marik nearly succeeded in his plan is when he made Bandit Keith grab Yugi's puzzle but forcing Yugi to duel him just complicated things and he lost.

The most intense moment for me was in Duelist Kingdom when Kaiba threatened to jump off Pegasus' castle.
And Yami was gonna beat him and cause it too until Yugi took over and stopped him

I'm literally both lol in the beginning I watch dubbed cuz i wasnt aware of the actually japanese version then when i was older i watched the sub version and went back to watch the dub again and laugh at the most dumbest thing the dub says with the dialogue and everything but i still enjoy watching for shits and giggles
I don't like the dub cuz it doesn't fell as good as the dub and kabia's voice is way better+ they took away some good music such as GOD'S ANGER and PASSIONATE DUELLIST,some times the voices for the dub doesn't fit the scenes but other animes like black clover and seven deadly sins have better dub voices

The most iconic scene for me is when kiaba and Yugi dueled in duel kingdom. That episode is how me and my wife started talking because she also liked yugioh. We started talking in high school and been together for over a decade and married for almost 3 years now.

The Marik vs Joey duel was easily the most brutal one in my opinion. Marik's goal wasn't to simply win by life point totals - his goal was to torture Joey into insanity. The shadow game that he set up made Joey feel all the pain that his creatures felt. From the very beginning Marik was mentally and physically wearing him down regardless of the Lifepoint total. Using Ra's ability to burn Gearfried (probably spelled that wrong) was the needle in the coffin for Joey

The stupidest scene, was EVERY Friendship Speech from Tea.
Yugi falling on his knees in despair against Strings/Marik when he had his Slifer combo is my favorite moment in the series.
Slifer didn’t break through the Shadow Realm, that was just Bakura’s Field Spell.

Hated how Mai lost because she couldn't read ancient egyptian.
Loved the Waking the Dragons arc, but my all time favorite anime moment was Arcana vs Yugi. When the two of them matched each other card for card. These two had their decks ready and opponents scouted in moments and played their best matches right there. Except for trimming the deck, Arcana was an incredible duelist.
Yugi is the only man who took the advice "Just draw the out" and does it.

That Joey moment lives on forever man. Kaiba was willing to let Joey fucking die in the sub just to get a grasp of Ra's abilities. Joey also in the sub said "attack" as he passed out so he 100% should've won that duel. Would've been hilarious if the big bad of the battle city arc would've been beaten by Joey though.

Kaiba used ult blue eyes against yugi in battle city finals used it against dartz used it on zork. He also used it on Lumis and umbra. As for exodia he was used a second time in the ark in between battle city finals against kaiba summoned by gozoburo but used it in necros form. :) I love your channel keep up the great work. Learned alot from you guys I tend to duel old school way I dont get links and stuff but I'm starting to learn em :)

That was a blast of nostalgia.
Some of my favorite duels have to be Yugi vs Arkana, Yugi vs Mind Controlled Joey (the anchor duel), and Joey vs Valon (the armor duel). As for specific scenes I'm not to sure.

My favriote scene is when Celtic guardian went to finish off blue eyes ultimate dragon then kaiba forced yugi to call his attack off because he was gonna jump of the castle

The Virtual World Filler, of course.
The actual Virtual World Arc, a clone of Kaiba used it against Total Defense Shogun.
Yugi also used it against Noah.
Kaiba used it in his Battle City Duel with Yugi.
Then he used it against Dartz, which resulted in Master of Dragon Soldier.
And although not a duel, he used it against Zorc.
He used it in Yu-Gi-Oh The Movie: Pyramid of Light
And Kaibaman used it.
So counting the movie and GX, it only actually got used 9 times.
Remember when Kaiba dueled Bakura? I think that was the only time I've seen the K man in a shadow duel

Great scene was Pharoah atem summoning obelisk against king theif bakura in the final arc. Also yami yugi reviving all Egyptian God cards against the great leviathan. Yugo vs kaiba with Obelisk vs slifer. Guardian shimon summoning Exodia during the memory arc

yes kaiba did use blue-eyes ultimate dragon again in the battlecity semi finals. Also here's a fun note in the original version Yugi actually knows Kaiba was going to play ultimate the moment he saw the blue-eyes in his hand but did not play it yet.
Dragon master knight, and they were facing 5 headed dragon, which yugi summoned from a young Jaden yuki deck when they were trapped in the arena during the grand championship at kaiba land, blue eyes ultimate was also shown in the yugioh movie but only as a tribute for blue eyes shining dragon

The 'black magician of chaos' bring summoned was a cool way to add up the end of 'season 1' and still put 'the dark magician' focus; unfortunately, I got too impatient to stick around for 'season 5' when the ancient Egyptian mythology stuff really becomes consistently relevant ('Millennium world' (?)..'Dawn of the duel'(?)). It's what gave the show it's mystique from the start and now I'm left waiting for LittleKuriboh 'to compensate' xD !.

Favvv yugi and atem moment was in the last movie. Yugi with all the plays (and even a 3 trap infinite loop) to hold the battle/game in the balance. Then, with all resources and life points all but depleted.... enters the pharoah. Draws the only out. His trusted friend, Mahad the high priest, who can only be summoned by drawing him for your draw for turn.
To my knowledge @ 3:59. Kaiba summoned Neo Ultimate Blue-Eyes in DSOD.

My favorite among these has to be the first time Kaiba summons Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon.
16;26 because Maria linked both there life energies to their monsters so when the monsters were destroyed the duelist took actual damage and the stronger the monster the more damage they took.
