      @PoliPopo I will definitely download it because I'm still running a man with 10.13 high Sierra and mpc software wouldn't install since the latest couple of updates but the release notes said this issue is fixed so can't wait to look into this

If all u got is a moc n model 12 then the one nob compression will help u see the difference in how ur sound is in and out but it’s a ear thing that grows with time never a bad investment tho to use a good mixer

    I'm trying to wrap my head around the audio connections between the MPC ONE and my Soundcraft MTK 12 mixer. I'm wanting the MPC to be able to record anything going into the mixer. I've got the MPC ONE hooked to a powered USB hub that all my keyboards are hooked to and the MPC recognizes all keyboards. I have a Moog Grandmother, Bass Station 2, and a controller M-Audio Oxygen 61. I have the first 2 keyboards hooked with 1/4 audio cable to mixer mono, one track each. Do I even need the audio connection if it is doing audio over USB? I'm using 1/4 left and right out of the Mixers Goup1-2 back to the MPC ONE. I'm trying to figure it out cuz it seems like I can't get the sound back into the MPC ONE at a decent sound level, it's way low.

    Hey,
    As a newbee my question might look silly.
    Can you mix multitracks out of the mpc usb ?
    How many tracks at the same time ?
    How do you assign each track to the different mixer channels ?
    This very interesting, I was on the way to buy a midi controller for mixing mpc tracks. An usb mixer is far more powerful and easy to use in a live workflow.
    The one you use is too much for me. Could you please advise me what smaller mixer (8 channel) to buy ?

    I think I'm about to buy this mixer and switch from my Mackie Onxy 24. The Mackie is able to multi track record and sounds great, but only has t usb inputs which is frustrating. It's difficult finding any good videos for any mixers other than the Tascam model 12 which don't have the sound quality I'm looking for. Thank for this video, I had no idea that the Soundcraft had so much flexibility. I'm also about to buy Focusrite Clarett+ 8Pre USB-C Audio Interface to really open up my options. I'm wondering if just the audio interface would solve my problem?

    Hi Poli, thanks for making this video. Seeing how well this mixer works as a USB interface really has me wanting to get one now. Can I ask you, do the gain or trim knobs at the top work with the USB audio coming from the MPC? Because on any analog mixer, I use those knobs for crunchy analog distortion.

    • @PoliPopo
      @PoliPopo  Před rokem +1

      @@PoliPopo Thanks. Videos like this are always appreciated 👍 I guess still being able to sample sounds from the desk with those gain knobs turned all the way up to distort would be fine. I currently run the 8 outs from my MPC X to a Yamaha MGP16X mixer. Which is a bit limiting. I still have to a mix a few sounds through the stereo outs or use external synths instead.

    I do not know if the following is completely to the topic, but: I have a mixer which uses a sample rate of 48 kHz. Do you know if such one will now work with the MPC X or not? A year or more ago it didn’t, I believe that is because the MPC X only used the 44.1 kHz sample rate. Do you know if that has changed?
    Great video (as always), by the way 🤗

    • @Spurveskoen
      @Spurveskoen Před rokem

      When I wrote «work with», I meant ‘as an audio interface’. That is, whether the mixer (using 48kHz sample rate) can work as an audio interface for the MPCX (previously using only 44.1kHz sample rate)?

    • @Spurveskoen
      @Spurveskoen Před rokem

      Just tried it, it didn’t work. Seems like MPC X will only accept sample rates of 44.1 kHz for external audio interfaces. My mixer only accepts 48 kHz. So I guess I will continue with the jacks from the main outs on MPC X to the XLR (optionally combo jack/XLR) inputs on the mixer. That seems to work fine.
