      I think it's the f-35.
      Our Navy is way too small but I don't look for another big war to be anything like World War II or the Vietnam War.. sure we should prepare for anything but it's just the world is so technological now I imagine the Russians Chinese or Iranians to do everything possible to Cyber attack America and star of people off and freeze them out.. I mean China already sent covid-19 around and I never thought that was an accident or didn't buy July 2020. The CCP has never cared how many of their own people they killed in the process of doing something pure evil or especially with war.
      North Korea and China didn't have the weapons or technology Americans did during the Korean Moore and they would send a thousand troops every 20 minutes or so in spurts because they had the numbers and they had guns and bayonets & that's what they used to their advantage but sadly, during Korea the Australians had Dug trenches. They were practically out of Ammo except what little they had & these guys have to get as far down as they could in their trenches to protect themselves and call artillery in from the air on their own unit because the Chinese were right up on them.
      After it was over they did a good job defending themselves and protecting themselves with ditches because there were about 30 or 35 Australian troops that were killed but there were thousands of Chinese slaughtered..
      They don't how many of their own people die. Sad!!
      Now communist China is using that compound to make fentanyl and selling it to the Mexican cartels to kill Americans and that's chemical warfare.
      If I were powerful enough in politics and in government I would stop so much foreign spending all together except for NATO and don't give any more than 2% or whatever we're supposed to and I wouldn't give NATO more than 2% or whatever we're required.
      Not pay full price to the military-industrial complex for absolutely anything and how do they make more of the best weapons & ammo we have.
      Sure they can build more ships but I don't know how effective it would be against a Cyber attack.

    Yes, that visual similarity is not a coincidence: the PROC flag was deliberately patterned after cold-war-era Russian flag but has different yellow symbols in the corner, because Mao was more interested in Chinese imperial ambitions, than in the common-workers symbology used by the Russian communists.
    "Zaire" is pronounced /za-EER/ and is another name (taken from a different local language) for the Congo river and the eponymous countries located around it. During the late twentieth century, one of the two Congo countries (the one on the southeast side of the river) officially used this alternate name in preference to "Congo", for internal political reasons. Compare Burma/Myanmar.
    Yes, historically a number of car companies were also aircraft companies or vice versa. BMW is the most famous example, but there are others. Saab. Honda. Rolls Royce. Packard. Subaru. Fiat. Mitsubishi (although they're not so much a car/plane company as an everything-under-the-sun manufacturer). Even the Wright brothers owned a bicycle shop.
    The Harrier is mainly notable for VTOL, which arguably places it in a distinct category. Its range and other capabilities have to be evaluated in that context, as it can operate out of locations that most fixed-wing aircraft cannot, and thus it competed mainly with helicopters for those deployments. Although of course there are newer VTOL aircraft available these days. Harriers can be seen up close in the last third of the movie True Lies.

      I kind of love how he questions Fiat, but glances over SAAB. For me, SAAB has always been "The car of architects" because stereotypically, for some reason; architects bought SAABs. In another way, GMC and Ford make cars now, but back during WWII they were making tanks, trucks, and any kind of bits and bobs to go on vehicles designed to carry destructive cargo in one way or another. GMC was the US's biggest contributor in manufacturing power in terms of ground vehicles. Now it's others like Oshkosh.

      They only recently made a flight that they consider 'successful' in 2022. They (the gov) renegotiated the price down 20% in order to buy more of them. They've been trying to make this plane for over 15yrs but kept running into problems. POOPler forcing them to make them 20% cheaper isn't going to help them. Just like the foxbat, they aren't what they are reported as being.
      ...and yes, they have only have a reported 22 of them. (+10 as test platforms)

    • @mystic37
      @mystic37 Před 3 měsíci

      The SU-57 is a massive fighter, and the "stealth" characteristics only lower the detectable size a little, along with some other shortcomings, so in reality, it doesn't qualify for the 5th Gen title in reality.

  • @steeljawX

    The F 104 Starfighter wasn't Italian. It was made by your favorite alien keepers, Lockheed Martin. It probably was fielded by the Italians as well as a bunch of other NATO nations, but that one's a bit of an oddball. It worked in the US, but it got the moniker of "Widowmaker" in Europe. Find out why in a react video. It's an interesting vehicle. I can't really call it an airplane because I've seen one IRL in a museum. Those wings are tiny in comparison and there's almost no way it's generating enough lift to pick that thing up. Those wings are directing which direction that rocket is flying. That's it. It's a missile armed with missiles and guns.

    • @steeljawX
      @steeljawX Před 3 měsíci

      He's reacting to someone else's video first off, so he doesn't have any control as to what's in that video. Second, the term of "generation" concerning fighters is usually referring to specifically to jet propelled/powered fighters. Meaning prop fighters are out of the running automatically and gen 1 were kind of the pioneers of putting both jet propulsion and aerial fighting together. Like the Me-262 is gen 1 which is on the tail end of WWII. They were fighters in name, but weren't widely used as gen 2 was when they actually got designs and functionality a bit more based.
      Also, also; jet fighter generations are defined by innovation jumps rather than periods of time. There's overlaps between gen 1 and gen 2 and definite over laps between gen 3, 4, and 5. It's more or less when a break through happens that everyone else jumps on, that's when one generation ends and another begins.
