I wasn't a big fan of Jackass originally because I'm not into a show about pranks and stunts. But over time it became about a group of friends, people who are relatively the same age as me and my college friends. The show is a very unique time capsule of the early 2000s. I've come to like Jackass as I've come to really like this group of friends, and it grieves me to see what has happened to Ryan Dunn and is currently happening to Bam.

These dudes were a big part of my teenage years. Heavily, heavily influenced by the Jackass crew. I have so much footage of me and my friends doing dumb stuff as well as hundreds of hours of skateboarding footage. It's going to be a real treat to sit down and watch old tapes one day.

I’m just going to say this, Steve-O is my hero. I struggle with addiction. I’m almost a month sober but the more I hear and see about him now, his past and his family life the more respect I have for that man.

@@fast97z24 Yeah, Steve-O has repetedly said he is "addiction prone" for mental or physical reasons. That's why he chose to completely abstain from anything that could cause an relapse like cigs or alcohol.
A lot of people can get out by themselves, the only one i hear is different is crack. Even steve-O in his most drug filled era didn't use crack because he was scared to death from it. If he had i think he would be either be dead or walking around homeless doing con's to get the next fix.

I was able to quit everything in my late 20's....after so many close calls, watched everyone around me get DUI's, Jail, or life started falling apart, and said NOPE, Not happening to me, I'm done....started focusing on my Career and other hobbies. I could never go back to that again, not in a million years, my brain isn't even wired the same anymore, Thank God. I remember many years ago I couldn't even Function without a Bottle in my hand, now I get a headache just THINKING about a drink or drugs.....it just repulses me now, crazy how time has changed.
That's pretty much where I'm at. I got myself a DUI, nearly fired from a good job, thousands of debt. I missed when it was fun but the hangovers and regrets are not worth it.
Good for you.ive been sober 3 years and just turned 50. Should have stopped at 40 and i wouldnt have gone through losing everything the last 10 years. I was a total recreational drug guy until i tried pills. Consumed my life and my bank account.

2 is one of my favorite movies of all time. We went to see it opening night back in college in a packed theater. it was nonstop roaring. And thats whats great about these guys too is that the top guys always went the hardest. Knoxville had every reason to slow down, sit on the side and do luke warm stunts, already being in movies with like the Rock, but he was leading them. That riot rubber ball embassy protection thing, he was the only one with no protection on -outside of putting his hand up. And he stayed standing. You guys rule.

It's both beautiful and sad to see Knoxville showing his age with his hair. On the one hand I'm glad him and Steve-O and most of the rest of the Jackass crew have lived through all their stupid decisions, but on the other hand it's a reminder that nothing lasts forever, and to think that one day we'll have to say goodbye to these guys is sad.

I looked up to these guys so much In high school their comedy was outrageous controversial and super entertaining. Jackass was basically CZcams before CZcams complete with pranks, sports, celebrity cameos, and music videos

No disrespect to Steve-O, but early 00's kind of ruled his life when it came to drugs and alchohol.... Johhny and Bam kind of got the best deal out of the show/films. Steve-O and Chris had Wild Boyz which was excellent, but everyone else involved kind of just floated around and didn't get the same recognition. Ryan started to hit it big finally shortly before the accident, but sadly it was cut short. I'm happy to see that Steve-o got his life together and has been going up ever since. Steve-O could have easily ended up like Bam and im so happy to see the opposite. Anyone who thinks any of these guys are old and boring now now don't understand how extreme they still are especially for their age. Keep on killing it guys, y'all earned it.
I think Steve-O would have ended up much worse than Bam and ended up more like Ryan did, he was on track to kill himself in a variety of ways and came very close to it right before his intervention.
On that note, I still get a bit heart broken when I think about Dunn, he was always my favorite member of the crew and was just so naturally funny and loveable and had so much potential ahead of him. He always had the perfect thing to say during or after a tense stunt or moment on Jackass or Viva la Bam. His toy car in the ass scene was played off so well against that Doctor's reaction and it still makes me giggle whenever I think about it.

Hey editor person man, I would recommend having the audio have about a second or two where it fades out in the ending. Just would make for a cleaner sounding cut. Other than that excellent work!
