Scoring Secluded Summer Surf on Highway 1

We drove from miles down the coast just to search and explore, but we had to stop when we found epic surf with nobody out on the shores of CA Highway 1!

I’ve surfed hundreds of waves at that spot… with a kite. It’s usually nuking wind there.

Oh yeah. That's where a lot of the adult great whites mate before heading down to Southern Ca.

For sure! Nearby Año Nuevo is the epicenter of a massive elephant seal migration, for one thing, so this is like a hunting ground for the Great White population.
