Wooo this reminds me of my imaginings of how a giant treetop city of Trehaug from the Realm of the Elderlings book series looks like
This is the only valheim base I've seen on youtube that I would like to build myself but can't due to the time investment, I think this looks better than other mega builds I've looked up. The other issue is I'd really rather not use mods or spawn commands. All my mansions and builds are vanilla and still so pretty, taking forty hours on average for each build. However this treehouse looks like a ninety hour plus job along with having to resource gather, and testing mods and spawn commands this can take way over a hundred hours of your time. I'd build it if I had time to spare, oh well I guess I'll just admire it by watching this video again

This is an incredibly beautiful and detailed build - beyond impressive. However, I've eaten most of the decorations because searching the grounds to find the treasure hunter gift is taking so long. You hid it very well.

@@advokat27 Select is Infinity Hammer. I think scale is world edit
Love the build! Beautiful job :) Question: I use the infinity hammer mod and I've never seen a "nudge" feature - where would I even look for that? Edit to add: I just asked the mod author and they aren't sure what "nudge" is.

I would for them too Add some huge trees like that to the Black forest, not THAT Large but I think they would fit right at home there and add to the feel of an Old growth forest. Maybe make them invincible trees like the Swamp has too, that would be great for earlier game tree houses, i like swamp ones but I would LOVE a tree house in the Black forest, just dont want to risk the supports being taken out lol
Wow you I feel like you built a hotel wish I had your talent to create someting extravagant. Qiestion? How did you get bigger then life trees, I love games lile that its like EQ or EQOA and your lanterns that you use where did you get those from are those always on?
Big trees are made with mods, the lanterns are dvergr lanterns from mistlands.

Hey I own a decicated server and built a nice Lodge I am trying to mix it with stone. If you feel up to it I would love to have your thoughts on what I can do with it to make it like yours if you feel like checking it out sometime. how do you deal with the build height limit? do you use mods for that or is there a mechanic you are using. I did watch your video on extending the build height but i dont see you using it here.
Some items act like foundations. The trees do that for me in this build. So anything touching them is blue. But I built the whole thing with infinite health pieces anyway so it wont fall. Infinity Hammer mod feature that can be turned on easily with mod configurator mod.

I love building in the trees but I can't seem to stop branches/leaves from being inside of my build 🤦🏻♂️

What mod did you use to create the giant tree?
The roots seem to have been created with the spawn command... Is there a separate command used to install trees at 860% magnification?

Select tree with infinity hammer mod. Scale tree with shift scroll wheel.

I used mods to select a tree then scale it up

My game won't let me build on or near the spawn 😢
hmm... I just built around it, maybe you could do that? It could also just be my mods allowing me to build there though. Not sure. If anybody knows for sure, help us! lol
@@9byte You got it spot on, normally there's an invisible bubble around the world spawn (and Haldor) that prevents you from modifying the terrain or building close to it. The setting in Infinity Hammer to bypass it is called "Ignore no build".
